Pigeon -- a new short film release!
Here’s another new short film release in conjunction with this Kickstarter campaign for Goblin.
Pigeon presents a weird science fiction dystopia that came from a dream, which I wrote after waking from it. Actor David Ficks plays Future Suave, who wanders a barren landscape of the future in search of a cybernetic pigeon. Steve Onderick and Corey Onderick also appear as drifters within the emptiness. The film was shot on 16mm, Super 8mm, and a touch of 35mm. I liken the piece to a filmic phantom from the North.
Most recently, Pigeon screened to a packed house at Cinema Lounge, hosted by the IFP / Film North in Minneapolis. With Pigeon and the other films I’ve released during this campaign, I hope that you can see that movie-making is a continual pursuit and passion for me. I really wish to go into production for my first feature film, which is why I started this campaign for Goblin.
Again, thanks so much for backing this project; thanks for reading, sharing, and supporting! Without further ado, here is my latest short, Pigeon, especially for you and the Goblin campaign:
