Progress, important concert news
It's been a while since our last update, but plenty has been going on as we get closer to our recording dates.
Firstly, all the scores have now been completed! Our arrangers Roger Wanamo and Jonne Valtonen have been working exceptionally hard over the past few months. I'm very pleased with the results and really looking forward to sharing it with you all soon!
In fact, I'm delighted to announce that I'll soon be able to present the music of Turrican II - The Orchestral Album personally, as I will be attending both shows of the upcoming Symphonic Selections concert in Bochum, Germany on November 12th!
You can find ticket information here - tickets for the afternoon performance:http://www.bochumer-symphoniker.de/konzerte/detail/symphonic-selections/

Don’t miss the opportunity of hearing the music of Turrican II live in Bochum at the new concert hall which will open end of October! Our production will be one of the first ever to be performed there--what an incredible honor!
As well as live performances of pieces such as Concerto for Laser and Enemies, The Desert Rocks, The Great Bath and The Final Challenge - which, I'm delighted to say, will be conducted by our good friend Eckehard Stier, who has just finished conducting the wildly successful US Final Symphony tour - I will also be taking part in a pre-concert talk and Q&A session before both concerts. I can't wait to see some of you there and share my stories about the development of the Turrican soundtrack.
Finally: With Kickstarter projects, there are often changes required with the production as it develops and this one will be a nice surprise: The opportunity has opened up to record our album with the hugely talented Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, one of the most exciting and decorated orchestras in Scandinavia (http://www.norrkopingssymfoniorkester.se/en/the-orchestra/about-the-orchestra). It also means that Eckehard Stier can join us for the recording too, which we’re thrilled about. I'm certain the end result will be an extremely high-quality album that we can all be hugely proud of. And I truly hope to see a lot of you soon in Bochum!
