Hello, have the non-poster items been shipped yet? Not pushing - just making sure I didn't somehow get left off a list. I received the posters already - nice work!

Yay! Very classy, Chop Shop! (Responded directly with details).

It figures — the last few, you are the first (I think) to get a damaged tube. It was a 4" or a 3" tube? I can re-ship, I just need you to destroy those and send me pics of each one cut or ripped in half. Just to re-issue the issue number officially. Also tell me the issue numbers.

Sad Space Robot Backer. At first I was like, yay-beep. And then I was all like boo-beep. Tube creased in delivery, and I think the prints were half-folded to begin with. Pics here: http://imgur.com/a/qfzeK

Thanks everyone for being so patient through the birth of my child, frozen shoulder as well as the unexpected evolution of my company of 17 years into Chop Shop Studio. The ride had some bumps but I am still thrilled it went so well, so much so that I will definitely be attempting to extend the series to at least three more designs here on Kickstarter in July.

Got mine today. They look fantastic!

      Hey Guys,

Are we going to receive any sort of notification that our posters are being shipped? My survey indicated that I was in no hurry and am glad to wait, but I just want to ask to see if I should be expecting some sort of confirmation. Thank you for all the hard work!

Those would be digital 13 x 19 prints, which are hardly comparable to the 20 x 36 screenprinted. I listed the different variations together on one page. You access the options through the pulldown. The problem is that the website advertises the as low as price which isn't clear in the thumbnail.

Am I crazy or do I see the same screen printed posters for sale on your website for $25 each? Wouldn't that be half of what the backers paid?

    12. Chop Shop 7-time creator on January 24, 2015

Hi. The last update states that the MER and Sputnik will hopefully arrive around Jan 30.

Just curious for an update. Based on the last one you provided, I would have expected to receive my Spirit/Opportunity poster by now (my survey was submitted on 12/11). The original 3 are beautiful and I am waiting to get the all framed as a gift would like to do so together. Frame shop recommend doing all together so custom frames/matting/etc are consistent... Anyway to know where this stands? And when to expect it? Thanks in advance.

    14. Lucas Bergen on January 21, 2015

I just got my poster the week, and I unwrapped it to the surprise of a different poster! I'm pretty sure I had ordered the Cassini screenprint, and I instead received the Curiosity screenprint. Don't get me wrong, it's still a sweet poster, but I had ordered the Cassini poster for a friend and I don't want to disappoint.

I've received my Sputnik poster today (here in the Netherlands) and it is beautiful. Love it. Nice quality paper too.

    17. Chop Shop 7-time creator on January 6, 2015

Hi — its complicated. I have to ship everything in bundles based on reward type or else it gets unmanageable. So even though the digital MER posters could be sent now — they are just shipping as part of the rest of the process which I am about 55% the way through now. Whereas the screen print of MER or Sputnik will not even arrive at our doors until around Jan 15-20 (I am guessing).

    22. Chop Shop 7-time creator on December 15, 2014

Okay. Sure. I just imagined that some people want those three and they can wait. I couldn’t make each one of those custom because that would have made 25 variations. But if you want Sputnik, MER and Voyager… sure. Just message me.

      Soooooo,

We select the second Mission Set in your survey, which is sent with an urgent message to reply, and then we find out that if we selected the second set we will be waiting until maybe March because of the Planetary Society design?

The previous longest sentence/question ever was sprung from incredulity. I thought I was being a good Kickstarter backer, tolerant of delays, and agreeing to post-Christmas delivery...but March?

Please consider putting one of the original three posters in with the stretch set posters and shipping sooner.

      Thank you
      Brian

Oh — believe me… had I not developed this condition just as this campaign was closing I would have been done with that one 2 weeks ago. I do have his face done and a color palate, but that can change as the poster fleshes out. Right now it is a more orange-red / brown combination. If you don’t mind missing the holiday mailing you could just not answer the survey until I post the final design. I expect that by the 15th (unless my arm falls completely off). I wish the wheels of medicine spun faster — my first physical therapy appointment is tomorrow. That only took 4 weeks.

Doug Johnston on December 10, 2014

A proposed color palette of the MER poster would indeed be helpful.

Also, in light of making ALL the stretch goals, it might be a nice token to send out the hi-res wallpaper images for all those waiting until after the holidays to receive their physical copies. Makes the delay more bearable :) Thanks, and I hope you get well soon.

    26. Michael D'Auben on December 10, 2014

Any chance we could see the finished Spirit & Opportunity poster before we have to commit on the rewards survey? Right now I'm undecided between that and Curiosity for my third poster, and it would be easier to pick one if we had the final artwork. Thanks!

I love the sketch for the MER, to help me make my final decision, do you have a plan for the color scheme? Thank You! Please keep up the great work!

    29. Chop Shop 7-time creator on December 9, 2014

Yes. The posters 1-3 are arriving (so I'm told) on the 12th. I'll start shipping those ASAP. The only things that are at odds are the stretch goals. Only the digital ones are available now, with the MER poster sill crawling along to completion. The stretch goal posters will not ship until January.

Hope the arm is doing well. So realistically, is there any possibility of investors/backers getting these before Christmas?

    31. Chop Shop 7-time creator on December 8, 2014

No. The tendinitis slowed my progress to a crawl. I may have to send the surveys without poster #4 completed. I might make them so you can choose between all 5, or choose to wait longer and potentially not get them until January. The timing on this condition couldn't have been worse really.

Hi - I haven't seen any surveys come through yet, for membership or posters. Just checking if they've been sent, and want to make sure I'm not getting dropped from the list if they are!

    33. Chop Shop 7-time creator on November 28, 2014

Hi — You can choose 3 of any of the 5 when I send the surveys. All the digital surveys and screen print surveys (which are most of them) will be sent as soon as I complete the design for Spirit/Opportunity. However, as a backer… I can offer you special rates to include the additional two (or one) that would be cheaper and avoid paying double shipping than just buying them off our site.

      You didn't reply...

I pledged 72 for the... "DIGITAL TRIO SMALL: Three 10.5" x 19" archival digital prints (on 13" x 19" sheets) w/free shipping in the US. Backer receives all three planned designs."

As the project received backing for the 5 designs, does this mean I get all 5? Or will you be sending a message so I can select my favourite 3?

    35. Chop Shop 7-time creator on November 25, 2014

I think the main five images will be done in about two weeks. I should be posting Sputnik today!

    37. Chop Shop 7-time creator on November 23, 2014

Only surveys that don’t deal with the posters have been sent so far. Membership, tees and the letterpress. The rest will be sent when Curiosity/Spirit and Sputnik are done.

Congratulations! You guys gave a good opportunity to join planetary society! I was wondering when will my membership begin? And will I get some code? I already have a free account on their website..

Also, will these posters be available on your website to purchase later on?

PS - can you do a Rosetta / Philae version too?? :):):) Your designs rule!

    42. Chop Shop 7-time creator on November 17, 2014

I think I was looking for something to ask… If anyone wants both, I’ll drop that in there NP. BTW, the tall is nearly spot on for an iPhone wallpaper.

      Congrats!
      Love the Designs!
I got the email for the Reward Survey and I am confused. I did the Digital Download reward (alas all I could afford) and it says desktop wallpapers AND original layouts for mobile, but the reward survey only lets me choose one or the other. I would very much like to have both orientations!

    44. Masud Harouny on November 12, 2014

Do you offer any free computer backgrounds? I am a little broke right now.

If we are already a member of the Planetary Society, for the $73.00 amount, what could we get along with the one print, instead of another Society membership?

    48. Tore Simonsen on November 12, 2014

Hi, Great design on this last poster! (Great design on all posters for that matter! :))

I really like my tiny posters, but is there a way to add addons, for one or more different sized posters, either now during the project, or after the project has ended?

    49. Rick Maschek on November 12, 2014

After Voyager, Viking was my favorite.
