@creator so Canadians should expect triplock and add ons to arrive via DHL correct? Or is that just for after this fulfillment? Thanks!
Thanks to Kickstarter removing the green dot that indicates a new Update I missed seeing this until now.
Once again Kickstarter makes a change for the worse.
Good Update, nice to know they're on the way.
AGN1964: As long as we don't see the term "SUNK". ;)
I've see "at the dock" or some such term used before. It can take a long time to get from that stage to "literally on a boat". I've seen it take weeks.
Hah, well, we would hope it means what everyone would assume - that it was actually ON the ship. :) But we know that even once loaded it can sit at port for days while hundreds of crates are processed loaded so it’s hard to gauge what that status actually means. It’s much more reassuring now that the ship is actually moving.
Sorry, I misunderstood what "on the boat" meant.
@AGN1964 That still sounds right. As we understand it, when we are told by our manufacturer that it’s “on the boat”, it can mean that it was dropped at the port for loading. Or that it was loaded and is now waiting for everything else to load. So really the load date being within a few days of our announcement is possible. The two main details to note are that it HAS left port and that it is currently ahead of the original ETA. ;)
Looks like UK-bound ship name is: MATHILDE MAERSK You can track its whereabouts on https://www.marinetraffic.com
Nothing like German efficiency to get our packages to us. Thumbs up on DHL :)
@Sam, could be. But these guys said Triplock was on the boat on the 16th and the boat you're tracking has only just left Ningbo.
For the US shipment, it looks like this is the boat the container was loaded on:
Can't wait to receive this..oh hold on .yes I can if it's delivered over Christmas. Waste of effort.
All of the times where DHL surprised me with extra charges later on was weeks, maybe months, later. I simply got a bill in the mail... There was not even a mention of it at time of delivery. In any case, I'm fine with it, given your reassurances and commitment to it. Here's hoping it's not a reprise of what I experienced in the past.
Thanks for the update team. I am wondering about the delivery to Hong Kong/China... is it done cia ground transport or is it on the same ship bound for UK?
I have had other KS projects shipped through DHL and have had no problems thus far. They arrived fast and in good condition.
Well that's very nice to know for 'future' KS I might back, but it reads that all those out-of-the- way places like Australia will be lucky if they receive this game before the end of January 2018. Ho ho ho hum
I'll admit, I'm getting this game for me, so the post Christmas delivery is not a problem. As the dates are close, could there be an option to pay for faster shipping if some want it before Christmas? Number-wise, you could limit it to the first X number of requesters, and they would need to pay for the upgraded shipping. Just a random thought, and, since it doesn't apply to me, it's easier for me to toss the thought out.
Happy Thanksgiving! May you have a wonderful nap in the afternoon, all fat, dumb and happy!
Happy Thanksgiving! Great news about early arrival of the US transport vessel, perhaps we'll see the game in December after all.
I am one of the backers that does not like DHL, but I am not worried about brokerage payments being charged twice. UPS have this option (I am sure they all do) and it worked like a charm the only time someone pre-payed for brokerage in a shipment to me.
I'm still puzzled why First shipment guys that added TMB like me are waiting for a boat that does not ship anything for them :)
Is there a chance to receive TMB before Xmas ?
