About this project
Follow the Game
Tacopocalypse is a street style stunt taco delivery game that’s totally rad! As a taco delivery driver in the midst of the apocalypse, it's your duty to deliver tacos to as many customers as possible!
Tacopocalypse is the perfect mashup of Tony Hawk Pro Skater and The Simpson's Hit and Run, with a big dollop of crazy apocalyptic chaos. This winning mixture, with our awesome stunt system, creates a recipe for a super fly video game!
- Fast paced and intense taco delivery gameplay
- Perform exciting stunts that have you flying, flipping, rolling and spinning through the air
- Experience the apocalypse across multiple maps, each with their own crazy disasters
- Customize your cars to create your own personal style
- Play single or multiplayer across different game modes
The apocalypse has finally come and the world’s falling to pieces but one thing never changes, the need for tacos! Take the role of a minimum wage taco deliverer and satisfy your hungry customers! Whether it’s meteors raining from the sky, tornadoes blowing away the town, or worse; the job must go on! Who knew work could be so tiring?
Our maps feature a unique disaster designed specifically for that location.
- Try to survive meteors crashing, magma vents and an erupting volcano on the California coast.
- Fly to Las Vegas where the party never dies! But neither do the tornadoes, lightning strikes and hungry customers
- Maybe you’d rather visit Hawaii? Make sure you take high ground when the tsunami rolls in or you’ll find yourself washed out!
No matter what branch you get assigned to, just make sure you deliver the tacos before time runs out!
Traffic laws are more like traffic options in Tacopocalypse, its the apocalypse after all! Go get creative on your delivery routes, do flips, grind on rails and perform phat tricks to crank up your spice meter and ultimately earn more money on each delivery.
The most important part of being a delivery driver is having a sick ride. Whether you want to go for speed or more space to hold tacos, make sure you pick the car that fits your playstyle.
So you got a ride, now what? Well you gotta make it your own of course! Pimp out your ride with the parts you unlock with your tips or special collectables in the world. Customizations including hood ornaments, car toppers, spoilers, and antennas are just a few of the possibilities. It might not meet company policy but who cares! The boss quit today anyways.
One of the things we like most in games is when the community is involved. In Tacopocalypse we already have several outside artists produced car customization and songs, and we plan to expand on that. You can bet we’ve got a kickin’ mixtape soundtrack for you to deliver tacos to as well. We'll be looking for community input on what we make and even community made additions to the game.
Be on the look out for open polls throughout development so our backers can help us pick which content they want to see added to the game!
There is more to the game than just delivering tacos.
Test your driving skills and speed in Timed Trial.
Don’t want the pressure of the clock? Try out Free Roam where you can explore and do stunts to your heart’s content.
You don’t have to experience the apocalypse all on your own! Play 2-4 player split screen with your friends across the different game modes to find out who will make it when the world ends.

Risks and challenges
As a group of recent graduates from University of Central Florida our biggest challenge is making sure to keep up all our different jobs. While real life is always doing its best to get in the way, Cherry Pie Games’ passion and drive can’t be broken. We constantly push ourselves to put out the best content possible, something we can be proud to have our names on.
Cherry Pie Games is also simultaneously working on our other project, Emmerholt. Emmerholt is where we explore new technologies, and development of methodologies to design around new platforms. Cherry Pie Games follows a strict, but fair, schedule that will make sure both Tacopocalypse and Emmerholt will meet all of our goals and exceed expectations.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
