  > INCOMING TRANSMISSION

Greetings loyal Federation venture capitalists. Here’s our monthly status report on the Far Away program. Please hold your questions until the end of the transmission.

Talking Item 1: We have completed interviews with about 50% of the custom content backers. If you have not divulged the details of your creatures or missions to us, please do that soon. We’ll keep reaching out, but the sooner we can get everything squared away, the sooner we can finalize the mission and creature set.

Talking Item 2: We are winding down on the major gameplay revisions. These were to creatures and buildings. Those links lead to blog posts with more details, if you’re curious. With those design changes done, all that remains design-wise are the missions.

Talking Item 3: We spent the holidays doing those redesigns and working on new missions instead of revamping the print and play test kit. That’s still a priority for us so you all can get exposure to the missions, rules, and components early. If you have strong opinions about print and plays (what would make them more printer friendly, what types of components you’d never print out, etc.) please let us know in the after the transmission completes.

Talking Item 4: We’re planning out our 2019 con schedule. Is there a con we should go to? We have nothing in the books yet, so please tell us why the board game convention in your backyard is the best one ever.

That completes the talking item list. Thank you for not interrupting the transmission.

      @Ethan Furman,
      For sure. We're planning on doing the fronts and backs as separate files. We'll try to organize them such that backs with information (double-sided cards) are all together. That way, you don't have to print out all the backs.

      Card backs should be on separate sheets so those that don't want to print them don't have to (but please include the card backs).
