Files sent to manufacturer

Hoard files have now been sent through to Whatz Shanghai, our manufacturer, a little bit ahead of our self-imposed deadline of end of business today. The next step will be for them to lay everything out and send us an "eproof" so we can check that all components are there, cards have the correct backs, etc. We expect we may go back and forth with them a bit first, especially about the punchboards and gold foil box accents, which we don't mind: Whatz are diligent about getting everything right.

Once we approve the eproof, manufacturing can get underway in earnest!

Here are the final polished versions of Rowan, Raynard Gaspar, the Ermine Cloak card, and the Jester Cap token, which will measure about 3.5 cm (almost 1.5 inches) across:

Ermine Cloak rules are finalized, thanks to testers Chris, Rachel, Katherine, Nathan, and Nicolas. This card is a bit nasty, but of course it's the players' choice if they wish to add it or any of the other purple-bordered cards to their games with 3+ players. We'll soon be posting the final version of all the rules on the Hoard website and BoardGameGeek. I also plan to do a supplementary how-to-play video covering the purple interactive cards. Meanwhile, thanks to Roberto Zaragoza Gascón, who has translated the rules into Spanish (he and I hope our other two translators will add the additional rules around these cards) and helped me caption the how to play video, which now has captions in English, French, Italian and Spanish. Check it out on Cheeky's YouTube channel.

Next we'll turn our attention to finalizing the Print and Play, which all backers who contributed $15 or more will be able to download via a URL I will be able to email you through Kickstarter. We'll also be emailing those backers who wanted a signed limited edition digital print, to find out which of the three images you would like. Tim has done a test run with his printer and is quite excited to get these underway.
