Have you already shipped the Companion books for backers who only pledged for those?

Is it possible to delay shipment until January on an order? I won't be home in late December to receive it. Unfortunately my apartment doesn't have a great place to leave packages.

Trouper level here, Tavern set and book
are all the tavern sets in or are we waiting for those too?

As my set of items are for personal use and none are intended as gifts for anyone but my self, ( although I am very important, at least to myself )feel free to take your time. As wood working is a hobby of mine I have made my own tak set that I have been playing with for many moons now. I am a patient man. I have been waiting nearly 6 years for Patrick's 3rd book in the series with only the occasional mild emotional outburst. I can wait for my tak rewards.

Are you using PSI Systems, Inc as a shipping agent ?

I received my book Monday, December 5th (I was a book-only backer). I made my own set of pieces out of blood wood and zebra wood (scrap from an exotic wood supplier nearby) and they actually fit the board on the back. Hooray!

I got my Devi Board and it shipped with book and capstone....not on its own as your update suggests. Lovely products though so am looking forward to getting the rest of my pledge to enable me to play.

@Del Merritt - where in Maine?

    12. Allan Third on

Thanks, Carol, that's good to hear! I'll be patient. :-)

    13. Dan 'Grimmund' Long

Book arrived today, NE Wisconsin. This was a pleasant surprise.

@Allan Third: The Crazy Martins have been packed up and are en route to fulfillment now. Two of the three fulfillment houses will be taking care of those orders, and the timing will be a matter of how quickly they can process orders, and how holiday closures impact the amount they can process so close to the end of the year. At this point, we believe that major order shipping will be underway in mid-to-late-December, but - just due to the number of orders to be processed, and the realities of holiday schedules - I can just about guarantee that some orders won't get out the door until January.

@Mitch Willis: We are getting one very large shipment of Classic Sets soon, which should be enough for everyone, fortunately. We have another order coming after that, but - barring calamity - we shouldn't have to make anyone wait for that second shipment. Those will be the ones that show up on store shelves next Spring, well after the campaign is complete.

Got my Tak book today in Maine! Happy! Thanks!

    16. Mitch Willis on

@Cheapass: If I recall correctly, I read earlier that the Classic Sets were due to be shipped in order of backer number. Is that still the case?

I received my Devi's Box on the weekend and I'm in love. I introduced the game to my roommate who immediately took to the game as well. I can see the box getting a lot of attention.

Now I just need my tavern set and cloth board so I can spread Tak through my coworkers.

    18. Allan Third on

Probably I'm unusual in this, but where do people who ordered a Crazy Martin pack but no Classic Set fit into the shipping timelines? :-)

Just got my Devi's Board after work, yesterday. That thing is beautiful. I can't wait to see the rest of it.

    20. CTDay on

I also got my Devi box the other day. Very, very beautiful.

If you are shipping second half of December I need to change my address as I am not home for the holidays, how could I do that?

    23. Christopher W Rueber

I received Devi's Box yesterday, and I have to admit that I find it to be quite beautiful. Makes me almost want to ask Wyrmwood to consider a companion chess set...

Uh... I received my book last week. It's fantastic, and was totally unexpected (and, I guess I got lucky, since it sounds like the majority are still being packed up?)

      Thanks, either way!

    25. Andrew Lohmann

I just needed to say this: The board came the other day, and I am overwhelmed. My immediate thought was that it reminded me of a board manufactured by Anri, the fabulous Italian chess manufacturer. So, I'm very eager to get the rest of the game.

And yeah, now I'm kicking myself for not getting the Devi's box. Ah well, I guess I'll have to struggle on. :-)

Devi's box arrived. Wow. I'm stunned. Gorgeous work. Simply amazing. Now I have to teach my wife to play. :) Thank you so much for all your hard work in making this happen! Now I have to change my will so a loved one that will appreciate it will get it. it's that gorgeous!
