Incoming dice and surveys!

Greetings, Button Men backers!

Fulfillment Schedule

Good news! We have confirmation that the Button Men dice are entering the country and en route to EPI, our packager! EPI plans to begin packaging as soon as they dice are in hand, and confirmed all other items for the core game are ready to go.

Unfortunately, our fulfillment partners will soon close for the holidays. This means fulfillment will begin when they reopen in January. During this time, we will be assembling Funvelopes at the office, and will send out the survey via Kickstarter.

Funvelope Updates

We tried to match the exact poker chips that we described in the campaign, but unfortunately the supplier no longer carries them. So we found something slightly better.

The chips we selected are a 12-gram clay chip with the "Olympian Casino" $5 pug design, colors slightly shifted to match the new edge stripes. You can see a prototype of it in the Funvelope photo below.

One down side of the original chips was that they were slightly chalky and tended to disintegrate with use. So, they might have felt more period-appropriate, but they weren't as durable as the new style.

We will include a couple of promotional cards in the Funvelope, as well as a copy of "Flip," a two-player strategy dice game that fits on a business card. Ironically there are only 6d6 in the Button Men game, and you need 10d6 to play Flip, but we figure you can find the rest!

 “Add a Faction” Backers

You all should have an email requesting your choice of faction for your set of pin-back buttons. Please respond to this if you have not already done so; providing this information via email will allow us to streamline the Kickstarter survey as much as possible.

Please be on the lookout for the upcoming survey; we know holiday schedules are hectic and we'd like to get the shipping information ready now rather than track folks down around New Year's. We're excited to see this project coming together!

Happy Holidays,

Team Cheapass
