When we were kids we thought being a grown up would be non-stop computer games, seeing our friends, going into space, eating waffles and getting to pick all the songs on long car journeys.
Then when we actually arrived in grownupland we found out it actually involves paying rent and having a job and fixing the dishwasher and making PowerPoint presentations. Boo to that!
So we decided to stage a secret rebellion against boringness, starting from the ground up (literally) with our ChattyFeet socks.
Each sock puts one of our funny characters at your toes. That means you can express yourself through ChattyFeet the second you kick off your shoes as well as enjoying all the other bonuses of socks like warmth and being able to slide across the floor like Tom Cruise in Risky Business...
Why do we need your help?
We launched our first collection about five months ago. We could only afford to produce a small amount because all the funding was from our own pockets. After launch we got amazing feedback about ChattyFeet and we're confident people love what we're doing! Now our socks are ready for the next step…
We have four completely new designs to add to the line up:
Don Cottone (The SockFather), Mr. Zukkato, Brad Feet and Sigmund.
We want to produce enough pairs to help our business stand on its own feet. Only with your support, we'll bring these funny characters to life and celebrate being child-like!
Making our socks
Here's the technical information - we are writing it down in our most serious voices: Our socks are produced in Portugal and we have already established a great relationship with manufacturers who are capable of delivering the quality we're after. The material we are using is 80% cotton and a combination of Polyamide and Lycra which is essential to keep our design intact.
Our socks are unisex and will be available in two sizes:
Medium (6-8 UK | 39-42 EUR)
Large (9-11 UK | 43-46 EUR)
We met about nine years ago in London while we were both at college but the ChattyFeet only joined us recently. The idea came to us in one glorious day at a cosy friends gathering when, after few drinks, one of us raised his feet in the air and said "What if my socks could talk?"
Both of our careers involved designing digital products such as websites and mobile applications so producing a physical product was an exciting adventure. Plus it means we can tell everyone that being childish and always on the look for an opportunity for mischievous fun is now part of our business plan!
Thanks so much for reading our Kickstarter and we hope you would consider becoming one of our backers and help us spreading the word about ChattyFeet!

Risks and challenges
Our main challenge is to produce our socks on time. We have done this once before so we are familiar with the different stages of production. This includes sending our designs, receiving samples, ordering the yarn, printing labels, producing the final product and delivery.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
