The NoSleep Podcast Illustrated trading card set
Over the past four years, the NoSleep Podcast has featured nearly 200 individual, original episode illustrations crafted by a small group of very dedicated, incredibly talented people from all around the world. Now, for the first time ever, 17 of those contributing artists have joined forces and come together here to bring the haunting visuals of the NoSleep Podcast out of your screens and into your hands.
Featuring many terrifying illustrations from the world’s best horror audio fiction podcast, this premier series of 120 premium trading cards also features brand new designs and artwork created by some of the podcast’s most talented contributing artists. Whether you’re a long time fan of the NoSleep Podcast already familiar with its impressive body of original horror illustrations, or whether you’re feasting your eyes on these nightmarish visions for the first time, there are a lot of new things to be seen by everyone.
Spanning the entire visual history of the show, this premier trading card set proudly features the artwork of:
Alexis Bristowe, Charlie Cody, Łukasz Godlewski, Krys Hookuh, Abby Howard, Jörn, Krista Neubert, Unka Odya, Mark Valenzuela Pelham, Lissa Quon, CJ Robinson, N. Ronke, Sabu, C.M. Scandreth, Jen Tracy, Hasani Walker, and Olivia White.
100 unique base cards chronicle the visual evolution of the NoSleep Podcast’s individual episode illustrations, while 20 additional sticker/puzzle cards combine to commemorate this landmark group effort to bring the NoSleep Podcast Illustrated trading card set to life. Each individual sealed foil pack of trading cards includes 7 random base cards plus 1 random sticker/puzzle card.
Our reward tiers offer multiple ways to collect this card series, whether through an individual pack or through a complete collection, safely housed and expertly presented in a unique rustic wooden box, creepy enough to be at home in ANY horror setting.
A special Kickstarter campaign-exclusive card, featuring rare concept art has also been developed just for this fund raising effort, and will not be available to the public anywhere else but here.
An affordably priced NoSleep Podcast Illustrated Sketch Card tier offers anyone the chance to own a piece of original work from one of our talented contributing artists.
But the higher reward tiers are where you’ll find the rarest treasures: original NoSleep Podcast episode illustration artwork, limited edition episode illustration art prints signed and numbered by the artists, custom artwork commissions, and more.
No matter at which level you choose to support this project, everyone that pledges to this landmark campaign is guaranteed to take home a hauntingly beautiful and highly collectible piece of NoSleep Podcast Illustrated history.
Risks and challenges
This entire project has been a massive collaborative effort from the start and will continue to be as this trading card set is produced and distributed around the world. Due to the many conflicting schedules and different levels of availability of our project’s contributors, any estimates or timetables provided for the distribution of our finished trading card set or the various rewards that we’re offering are only estimates.
Though, we assure everyone that every effort will be made to have a finished product distributed to its backers as soon as production times allow. Everyone involved in this trading card set is extremely excited to share it with the world as soon as possible, and the backers of this project will be the first people in the world to actually see and experience them.
Our funding goal is presently calculated to cover the trading card set’s initial print costs, associated shipping costs, individual licensing fees for each contributing artist featured in the card set and packaging, as well as the numerous expenses involved in producing the card set, designs, and campaign efforts as a whole. Any significant overfunding that we receive will be put directly toward the expansion of the card set itself, as well as toward various upgrades and improvements to the reward tiers.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
