I Need Your Help, Kickstarter
Blackjack Strategy Trainer is going to be my first video game and, with your help, it could be a success!
It has always been a dream of mine to release my very own video game. Although I’ve been working in development for several years, until now I’ve never had the opportunity to try my hand at game development. I decided a simple blackjack game would be ideal to start with. And one that teaches you the “basic blackjack strategy” would be even better.
So I’m building the game using Unity3D and I expect it to be complete in the first quarter of 2013 but in order for me to publish the game publicly, I need to purchase the Android (and hopefully the iOS) license(s).
By helping me kick start this game, you can help bring an old dream to life.
Blackjack Strategy Trainer is not just a great looking & fun 3D card game, it's a training tool that uses a critical thinking technique to teach the player how to beat the dealer in a casino style blackjack simulation. It doesn’t teach you to cheat or count cards, it simply teaches you how to play like a pro. The game gives the player a moment to evaluate the cards themselves before giving them visual hints/tips for the suggested (and best strategic) course of action. The hints/tips will train the player to make the best strategic move and help them beat the dealer. This game will help any blackjack player, from beginner learning the game to professional sharpening their skills. And it will help them force the dealer to bust, increase winnings, reduce risk and ultimately… WIN!
The finished version will include easy-to-read strategy charts, tips, suggestions and general explanations that will teach players how to play blackjack like a pro.
The funds raised here are going to be used to purchase the Unity3D license(s), provide hosting for the games website, as well as additional graphics, sound effects and music to really bring the game to life. The first and most critical goal for the project is to acquire a Unity3D license to publish the game.
