About this project
We're gonna be back!
We are already planning to relaunch since we're not going to get funded this time. However, it may be for the greater good because we are planning to add miniatures for all the characters and monsters for a brand new relaunch! To get updated on our latest news, pledge any amount, even if it's a $1. Those who pledge at the higher levels will also receive a discount when we come back :-D
We love interactive games that allow us the freedom to cooperate or compete, fight or negotiate, trade resources or favors, and to form and break alliances… we also love all kinds of monsters, from vampyres and werewolves, to witches and demons, to aliens and robots – We love them all! That is why we decided to create “Escape from Monster Mansion”, which is the perfect blend of both our passions.
If you like our idea and would like to see our game become a reality, you can pledge and get your own copy. Don’t forget to tell your friends to help us succeed!
Payton Lee is a mechanical engineer by training and Purdue alumni. He is the game designer. Joe Bilicic brings you the beautiful monster illustrations from the Brave New Garage Art Studio. Together we bring to you “Escape from Monster Mansion”, the ultimate multiplayer, monster slaying, dungeon survival game...

New Cost Analysis Coming Soon:
Since we've decided to add miniatures and collectible game boxes to our campaign our costs estimates have change dramatically. However, our goal remains the same: to bring you a game of the highest quality at an affordable price. We'll keep you guys updated as our story unfolds!
We are using Kicktraq to track our progress. We are relying on your word of mouth, so be sure to pass on a good word for us. Come back at anytime to check on our progress :-D
Risks and challenges
Fingers crossed, we may get a 500 copy game run. Even that is miniscule in terms of professional manufacturing, where the minimum print quantity is often 2000-5000+... We'll have to search far and wide to find a manufacturer of the highest quality to create the game we hope to deliver. Luckily, we are already in the process of communicating with a couple in Asia, as well as Europe and the U.S.A. Geography is not our number one concern. Quality is.
Not only do we hope to offer a game with a great theme, social mechanics, and high quality components, we hope to give you a thoroughly engaging and frictionless gaming experience. This means investing extra time and money into useability tests: we want to make the instructional manual fun and easy to read. We want all the game pieces to be a joy to handle. And, we want to make setup and reboxing to be quick and painless. Achieving all of the above will be a challenge, but we're ready for it. We hope to hire professional useability engineers to get the job done. Luckily, our game designer Payton Lee has had over 3 years of experience in related fields already. We know what we're doing.
We hope to have money left over to invest in future games. How about escaping from an alien ship? Or turning the tables and playing as monsters (or mutants) trying to escape from a secret government lab? Our creativity knows no bounds, but our pockets have real life limitations. Only with your support will it be possible for us to continue on our adventure as inventors and game designers!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
