About the Creative Team
Emily Executioner is the third comic project by Chad and Tomlaw, if you would like to read the five page short, "What a Crime" we made, you can download a free PDF in exchange for signing up to the CEK Content email list.
The project is now complete, and we are using Kickstarter as the sales platform, because it helps us to determine pre-sales and therefore the size of the print run. The primary goal of this campaign is to get copies of Emily Executioner printed and read.
After Kickstarter takes their 9%, all funds received from the campaign will be used to cover the cost of printing and shipping the comic. All unused funds will be reinvested to create a new comic about Emily.
Risks and challenges
Emily Executioner is complete, CEK Content has entered into an agreement with StudioComix Press for printing services, and the proof has been approved. We need early adopters to support Emily and help us determine the size of the print run.
Digital PDF files of Emily Executioner will be distributed within three days of a successful campaign end. The Thank You section of the printed first edition cannot be complete until all pre-sale orders are paid. StudioComix Press estimated 5-7 business days to ship once the final files are received. Once received at CEK HQ, all comics will be shipped within three business days. Everything will be sent standard mail. All comics will be bagged and boarded to protect them while en route.
