While Farmer Bob is away, the foxes have assembled to raid the chicken coop so they can steal chickens into their bags and get them back home for cooking into delicious chicken dinner. It’s a fox eat fox world out there. Not only will the foxes need to watch out for Toby the farm dog guarding the chickens, they will need to steer clear of each other. No chicken is safe in the coop or in the bags.
Roll dice, steal chickens, avoid the dog, and cook up some tasty dinner. All of this, while you try to outfox other players as you race to see who will end up with the most cooked dinners and chickens in your bag.
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner is designed by Chad Elkins with illustrations by Shawna J.C. Tenney (Bugs on Rugs & Wizards of the Wild). It will make a great addition to your family game night line-up as well as a fun filler for adults.
Note: The wooden tokens will ship in a separate bag along with the sealed base retail game. The retail version of the game will have the punchboard tokens version, so Deluxe edition backers will have both options.
Roll the six hunt dice. Rolling dogs will lock the dice, but you may choose to re-roll the other facings twice for a total of three rolls. If you choose not to re-roll a die on your second roll, you can still pick it up and roll it on your third and final roll.
Once you are finished rolling, it's time to spend the dice! You may spend the dice facings in any order, but you must spend all of one type together.
Foxes can be turned in for action cards. In this example, the player rolled three foxes, so they could purchase both the one and two cost cards OR purchase the card in the three fox column. At the end of your turn, the cards shift to the left so that the newest card is the most expensive.
In this example the player rolled a single die with double chickens, this allows the player to collect two chickens from the coop and place it in their bag. They also rolled a matching pair of cook dice. Since the pair shows two chicken legs, the player can convert two chickens in their bag into dinner, placing the dinners next to their player card. Dinners are not only worth 2 VPs instead of 1 like the chickens, they cannot be stolen by other players!
When the dogs are resolved, move the dog meeple along the bark track a number of spaces equal to the dog dice rolled. You may also use the dog's ability. Because this player in the example rolled three dogs, they have a choice to use the three dog dice to steal a chicken from any player and place it in their bag (which is what the example shows) OR they could choose to use the two dog dice ability which let's you choose another player to lose a chicken back to the coop. Clearly, taking the chicken was the better choice here. If a player rolls five or six dogs on a turn, they can utilize the dog ability more than once as long as they have enough dice to pay for it.

Risks and challenges
This will be our seventh product to manufacture and fulfill to backers. We have run five successful campaigns here on KS and one on Indiegogo.
We have already established contractual relationships with our manufacturers, fulfillment partner, and pledge manager. This will help us to hit the ground running immediately after the campaign ends.
All campaigns are unique and will present their own challenges along the way. We vow to handle them quickly and with the best interest of our supporters in mind.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
