Robots Love Ice Cream: The Card Game is a family friendly semi-cooperative game for 1-4 players ages 8+ that can be played in about 30 minutes or less.
The game is based on the hit video game Robots Love Ice Cream released in April of 2014 by Dragon Army. It has been named one of the best new games of the year and has surpassed over half a million downloads. This card game features all of the same characters and art style found in the video game!
Spinston and his robot army are invading planets in search of ice cream. Your mission is to take control of an ice cream truck and use matching sets of weaponized ice cream to ward off the enemy robots. When the robots are destroyed they drop Sprinkletonium, a supercharged element that can be used to upgrade the weapons on your truck. Defeat Spinston on each planet and rescue the ice cream to score victory points. Saving the galaxy is pretty sweet!
The game contains over 200 fully illustrated cards featuring Spinston and his robot pals, boosts for your ice cream truck, weaponized ice cream, and more!!

25th Century Games is a tabletop publishing studio located in Atlanta, GA. Robots Love Ice Cream: The Card Game is our first game and we are extremely excited to bring this fun and unique video game to life in a card game format.
Our world and social lives are becoming increasingly dependent on digital mediums. In many ways, these technological changes are driving people away from in person interactions. We believe in the importance of family and friends gathering together around the table to enjoy each other's company over a game.
Our mission is simple: to create entertaining tabletop games that bring people together.

To help make this project easier for our international backers, we have sourced a fulfillment partner with global distribution facilities. We are planning to distribute the game from within both the EU and Canada, eliminating VAT within those countries. Depending on the distribution of our backers, we may also distribute from within Australia and China, but can not promise that at this time.
Shipments from those international facilities will include the game at minimum. It is possible that some or all of the higher level reward tier gifts could originate from a US based shipping location. We will try to ship as many of the added rewards gifts within the same package as the game, but there are certain items where this may not be possible. If there are delays in any of the reward gifts, we will not hold up the game from our target delivery date which could create a situation of reward gifts arriving from a US location.
We know how important eliminating VAT is for international backers. Your support means a great deal to us and we promise that we'll work to do everything we can to ship the game and reward gifts with that in mind.
Risks and challenges
We've spent a lot of time preparing for the launch of this campaign from not only the game design, but working with vendors to accurately cost all of the production aspects of the game. This is the first tabletop game from 25th Century Games and even the best planning could result in unexpected problems. Producing a high quality game is of the utmost importance to us, so no matter what the issue is we will work to resolve it with the best possible solution for our backers.
All that remains before sending the game to the production vendor is to finalize all of the component art. We will work to get this completed as quickly as possible in order to meet our target delivery date.
We have also identified vendors and their respective costs (where applicable) to produce the items included in the tier levels. Creation and production of these items will not impact the actual game itself even though we are targeting to deliver all items around the same time. Producing the game is our first priority and additional tiered items will be delayed if necessary in order to ensure the game is delivered to backers on time.
Having worked with these characters and environment assets before, we are confident in our ability to accurately bring the video game art world of Robots Love Ice Cream to a tabletop version. Our close and good working relationship with Dragon Army, already solidified in contractual form to use the characters, will help make the licensed approvals during the art production process smooth as well.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
