As START goes into its 3rd and final year with Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CFCCA) and our engaged schools, Pupils at Alder Community High School were asked to find current and international ways to raise funds for their final exhibition!
The result was an exciting and engaging kickstarter campaign, designed, produced and marketed by the talented GCSE ART students.
What do we need from you?
We need to raise £500 or more to make the final project an amazing final event. If we raise more money, we can....SAVEART! providing funding for further projects and allowing more young people to access Art in the future.
What will we give you?
The kickstarter ends on the exhibition preview night giving you the chance to see the show they have funded and also, to receive you're fabulous gifts from limited edition badges to your name as a contributor on the walls of the exhibition.
Risks and challenges
We are offering products which haven't been made yet and so there are challenges to this! such as getting them made by preview night.
We will find challenges in finding new ways to fund art projects outside of school. We hope that Kickstarter is a platform we can begin to use to find funding and learn though practical experience of this.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
