**** INITIAL FUNDING COMPLETED WITHIN 48 HOURS! ****
Thanks to each and every one of you for your support! We are excited for the future of this range and for that of our company, and very humbled by the quick success of this endeavor. Without you, ToHC2 miniatures would just be a great idea - now they will be a reality in the near future. We have 17 days left to share this project with our friends, and to see how many more miniatures we can create - and in exchange, how many more rewards we can send your way!
As a thank you for funding this project within 48 hours, we've added a BUNCH of fantasy related miniatures from our online store as add-ons...at Kickstarter only prices. They might not be specifically from the Tome of Horrors Complete, but I'll bet most people can still utilize them in theirr RPGs. See the list below:
The $100 and $200 backer rewards seem to be most popular. What do I get at each level?
Check out the Pledge reward FAQ at the top of the project!
What scale are these miniatures? And what casting medium is being used?
All ToH miniatures are 28mm scale and cast in lead-free metal wherever possible. Occasionally, due to size, miniatures will be cast in a high-quality gray resin. We make every effort to stick exclusively with metal.
The bulk of our ToH miniatures will be sculpted for round slotted bases, while a few may have their own integral base. Those with integral bases can easily be mounted on a 30/40/50mm round base if you choose to do so for uniformity purposes.
What is the Tome of Horrors Complete? And where do I get one?
The Tome of Horrors Complete is the biggest tome of fantasy RPG creatures ever assembled! Published by Necromancer Games in its early incarnations and now by Frog God Games, it contains over 800 monsters ready for use in your Pathfinder or Swords & Wizardry RPG!

Why am I just looking at concept sketches? When will the greens be ready? I want to see something concrete!
Well, we can't pay sculptors with money we don't have, but as goals are unlocked, our sculptors get BUSY! Check out the link below for an update showing how our sculptors turn 2-D into 3-D! All of the miniatures at the link below are from THIS PROJECT!
Since 2009, Center Stage Miniatures has taken pride in producing old-school fantasy miniatures for use with tabletop RPGs. We started with only a few releases our first year, but have built up momentum and now have over 250+ products ready to be integrated into our online store this Spring and Summer. With the acquisition of some major miniature ranges, most notably the Julie Guthrie Fantasy Personalities (from Grenadier Models/Mega Miniatures) and Dungeon Crawl Classics Miniatures (from Goodman Games), we're poised to support your need for high-quality fantasy miniatures for years to come!
We will begin setting up our own in-house metal casting operations this year, thanks to several dedicated investors and our continuing growth. As we experiment with in-house casting, we will continue to utilize Valiant Enterprises as our contract casting company for purposes of fulfilling this KS project. We will not begin casting our own figures until we're confident that what we put out ourselves rivals the quality of our toughest competitor.
CSM has already had three very successful Kickstarter projects - our Demons and Devils Kickstarter ($65K+, shipping right now!), Torn World RPG Miniatures Kickstarter ($4K+, completely shipped!) and Tome of Horrors Complete I ($97K, shipping in April.
And a big "Thank You..."
...goes out to "Skeeter" Green and Chuck Wright of Frog God Games, for being as excited about this project as I am and helping get this Kickstarter set up. Your enthusiasm is motivational!
And thanks also to Bill Webb for allowing us to move forward with the Frog God licensed ranges; and to Matt Finch, a good friend, class act and fellow businessman who believes in second chances.
...and finally, but NEVER least, our backers, without whom this project never could have happened. "Thank you," from the bottom of our hearts!
Risks and challenges
As many of you know, our first Kickstarter was a rough ride which is finally on calmer seas. We're still wrapping it up, but as of launch, we're more than 70% fulfilled with a slew of positive comments about the rewards our customers are receiving. Reknowned sculptor Jason Wiebe is still working on one of the miniatures for the project - a massive five-headed dragon, which will ship once it's completed.
Our second Kickstarter, launched after Demons and Devils, was based on the Torn World RPG campaign setting. It was smaller project, but completely fulfilled and right on time.
A third, the original Tome of Horrors Complete Miniatures KS, is scheduled to fulfill this April, and we're proud to have a very supportive community over there. We're as excited to begin fulfillment as our generous backers are to receive their products! You can visit that project page and see some samples of our miniatures here.
So why are we here again so soon? Well, for one thing, KS is the best way to plan long term projects and make sure they're funded. We've also learned a BUNCH from our first KS. We've learned about timing, we've learned about communication, and most of all, we've learned that an 8-10 month time frame is just about perfect for a smaller company to fulfill a big project.
In addition to just myself, we've got a packaging crew of three ladies who enjoy putting metal pieces into boxes. We've also added a customer service coordinator, who will start handling concerns and service issues in a timely an efficiant manner.
All of these things have been made possible by the success of our initial Kickstarter projects. Now, please help us put the icing on the cake by supporting ToH2, our biggest endeavor to date.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
