A peak behind the scenes

You are helping to create beautiful music! Thank you for your support of Intersection: Jazz Meets Classical Song!

On Monday, June 10th, the ensemble will be on 98.7 WFMT in Chicago (or streaming online at wfmt.com) from 8-10pm Central.  They will perform many of the pieces which will be recorded.  The live broadcast is a unique opportunity to preview the CD that you are helping to create! Please tune in!

Patrice Michaels, Kuang Hao-Huang, Nick Photinos and Zach Brock were rehearsing yesterday to prepare for their radio broadcast preview of Intersection.

They recorded a video for you - their Kickstarter backers - to thank you for your support of this project. The piece on the video is a ballad by Billy Strayhorn, arranged for the ensemble by Peter Labella.

We are almost 2/3 of the way to our goal - but in order to reach it, we need your help.

Is there anyone that you haven't told about Intersection yet?  Please TALK ABOUT, post, re-post, forward, or use any other means of communication to share INTERSECTION: Jazz Meets Classical Song with those whom you believe would enjoy hearing and supporting this project. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cedille/patrice-michaels-intersection-jazz-meets-classical

Thank you for being a part of our team! Music-lovers around the world will benefit from your generosity and enthusiasm for this exciting recording!

      Steven,

We've promoted the project largely through social media - Patrice has reached out to her network, other Cedille artists have promoted the project to their networks, and Cedille Records has also reached out to our supporters. There are a few people who have found the project through Kickstarter, but many are people who we already knew. Hope that helps!
