WELCOME TO THE FACTORY:
'London’s leading box design agency. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, bank holidays, Christmases and Hanukkah should you need a last minute box design. We have a team of dedicated staff awaiting your call! Our extensive R&D department are working tirelessly around the clock to find new and innovative ways to create cardboard containers. So, what are you waiting for? Come to The Factory and let us help you think outside the box! [cue crowds cheering].'
The Factory is a short satirical comedy exploring the lengths people will go to follow the creative carrot and how far those holding the stick are willing to dangle it!
Our short film follows a young and ambitious intern, Eleanor, as she delves into the crazy world of The Factory, learning to survive under the ever watchful, bloodshot eyes of The Boss.
Nando’s obsessed writer/director Sean Keaney and box fanatic producer Leah Lawry-Johns team up with the lighting wizardry of cinematographer Jason Weidner to bring the film to life. With additional help from set building extraordinaire Molly Syrett and graphic designing bomb Jon Rowntree,The Factory is in good hands.
Ready and raring to go, our cast and crew are passionate about independent short film and are willing to dedicate many hours of free time to a project we have huge faith in.

MAKING IT HAPPEN:
As a team we have a vast array of personal and professional contacts allowing us access to Pinewood’s Shepperton Studios, high end digital cinema cameras and a post production facility.
With a talented editor already on board we have the ability to finish the project by Summer 2015.
We have a finished script, locations locked down and a complete cast and crew. The only thing left is to shoot it and that's where we need your help!
This is where you come in… Your contribution will go directly to the remaining hard costs:
Set (£600) - the devil is in the detail and we want everything to be picture perfect.
We are dressing an entire warehouse and attempting to transform it from an everyday place of work to an industrial, dystopian box-processing plant.
Props (£150) - propping up our production… sorry.
We have a wide range of props to acquire, from The Factory signage to a working conveyor belt; these will add the finishing touches ready for the screen.
Costume and Make-up (£100) - clothing our characters and making them look pretty is important- this is not a nudist film!
Transport and Food (£150) - costs for our 35-strong cast and crew.
We have a number of exciting rewards for you from being a credited Executive Producer to receiving a unique personalised Factory ID badge by our own Graphic Designer plus many more! Please visit the Rewards section at the top right of the page to see what you can get.
We also plan to use the talents of camera man James Wordsworth and director Serena Chloe Gardner to document our shoot so we can keep you updated with our progress and also bring you a special behind the scenes feturette!
