Catch The Letch is a fast and super fun card game. The basics are simple: score 10 points and win the game!
8 friends decide to go on vacation together and challenge each other in a game: attract as many people as possible in a week! The winner will be elected "Queen of the Beach 2019"!
Letches can be charmed by a girl with the characteristics they do like. If a girl has charmed one letch and than she looses a characteristic he likes, he will run away from her and go back to the beach. There are many tipes of letches:
Players will face each other in an epic battle for becoming the queen of the beach, and charm more letches than each other. You will imperson one of the 8 different girls, each with 3 main characteristics (boobies/butt, one-piece swimsuit/two-piece swimsuit and hair colours(red, blonde, brown, black) + suntan(extra one)). The main objective is to "catch" the letches on the board using this characteristics (letch has his own preferences).
But be wise, you can only play/discard one "action" card and charm only one letch using your "charm" ability during your turn. Action cards make the difference, because they can make you charm more letches in a turn, interrupt other player's actions, make the letches charmed by others run away from them and come back to the beach (the neutral war zone) or simply steal them, enhance yourself, earn new characteristics and more. As time passes more letches will come to the beach, so basically... The longer you play the greater your odds of winnning... Or loosing. But don't worry, Catch The Letch has been built with the idea of having fun and playing many many games in a short amount of time, with each game lenght of 20 minutes max (8 players), down to 10 minutes (2 players)! We decided to make a game for as many people as possible, because we have a lot of fun when we play toghether with friends, but sometimes we do even like to relax and have a fast game with one or two of them.
Catch The Letch started when Nicolò and Giacomo were driving home one night. They started talking about having fun with friends, playing games, doing something in their lifes and... Suddenly... The two hamsters that lives in their heads had an idea! They said:
N Hamster: "Listen, this two guys are game designers, they should create a game for their firends!"
G Hamster: "Nice idea, lets give them a hand!".
Aaaand so... Catch The Letch is born.
When we created the cards design we went along a long process: we tried separate counters for enhacements, additional cards in orther to mark changes into girls' characteristics, and even more. But we came along with the decision to make the game playable just with its own cards, so that you don't have to worry about loosing those little counters, pawns or dices, the ones the cat usually decides to hide from you into his purrfect world. Thats why cards like "Shampoo" or "Push-Up" have an unique icon on the left border, representing the characteristic of the girl that they are changing, so that you can put them directly under your character for clarity. Letchers cards are designed in the same way, so that they can be put one on top of the other with their preferences shown on the left. This is a clarity choice but it also helps you to play in many different places by saving space on the table.

Risks and challenges
Our biggest concerns are the shipping fees. We wanted to include them in the rewards but we realized soon that we couln't afford them all. We are only 2 guys and we just graduated so... We are terribly sorry. We are trying our best in order to guarantee you to pay as less as possible, and we will continue to keep in contact with companies in order to ensure that. The shipping fees will be communicated in the end of the campaign, but we estimate a fee of 8€/15€ euros based on country (for example 8€-9€ Europe / 10€-15€ United States and so on...). Please do consider that these are estimations, and could be lower (we hope so!).
Our main risk about production is that the delivery time may vary, but we will likely do all as planned. We have only one artist for 112 cards after all, he's not a machine, just a raccoon!
