Creating genius and intuitive user experience is our main concern. We removed the traditional bulky remote from the equation and designed an awesome interface that enables you to control anything with one single gesture. Your smartphone is now becoming your remote.
EVERYTHING INTEGRATED INTO ONE SINGLE SCREEN
CAST by GENII interface is a revolutionary way to aggregate all your favorite content in one place. You can do things such as live stream your favorite movies, sports, games, and add friends for video calls and messaging. CAST is one interface for everything on any devices.
WIRELESS HOME VIDEO SYSTEM
CAST uses the latest technologies to connect wirelessly all of your devices, on a dedicated WiFi network. The CAST WiFi network uses the fastest WiFi n/ac technology available to handle all the video, audio and webcam traffic, without using your home WiFI's bandwidth. Of course a second WiFi antenna connects CAST to your internet access. There is only one wire for CAST : power.
POWER UNDER THE HOOD
Our current design is based on the Intel NUC platform, giving us modern laptop-like performance in a very small package. This hardware allows us to manage several HD streams simultaneously to provide a fluid, seamless and lag-free experience for our users.
LIVE STREAM SYNC TECHNOLOGY
Our "secret sauce" lies in a lightning-fast graphics engine that is capable of receiving, mixing and streaming multiple multimedia sources (video, sound, photos, etc) to several devices at the same time, with no lag. Combined with the "power under the hood", our system makes you forget about technology - and enjoy time with your friends.

Why you should have an additional CAST CAM ?
Have multiple TV, Computer in many rooms. That’s what you need to video chat from any rooms. Also adding multiple camera.
Why you should have an additional HDMI stick?
If you have more than one TV in your home, an additional HDMI stick enables you to CAST content to the second TV or on any display (Video Beamer, TV, well, anything with an HDMI input)
HOW FAR ARE WE IN THE DEVELOPMENT?
A revolution starts with a few believers. That is why we chose Kickstarter to launch CAST by GENII. We wanted to share this amazing technology to a community of early adopters that could be the ambassadors of social entertainment.
We also wanted to create an open innovation type of environment where we could keep fine tuning our product with the future users on our side.
The full retail price for CAST by GENII Box will be $299 and $399 for the CAST by GENII Hub, so you’re getting a deal by supporting us on Kickstarter. We will not be selling CAST by GENII in retail until all Kickstarter rewards have been shipped. We truly want you to be our first ambassadors and be in the driver seat to lead together this revolution.

Risques et défis
The risks linked to this project are essentially the ones you would find in any ambitious technological project when taken to an industrial scale. We worked to minimise risks in all of the aspects of the project, but some things are out of our hands at this stage:
— We have secured most of the manufacturing aspects as we work with large manufacturer used to handle mass market technological products
— Despite the thorough effort we put in anticipating any potential problem ahead, there is always the possibility for unexpected, minor alterations having to be performed. This might lead to slight delays in lead time.
— We order components from suppliers that we trust, but things can happen on their premises that we can’t anticipate or control. This might lead to slight delays in lead time.
This being said, we’ve put a lot of work in securing our development and production plans, we are confident to deliver CAST by GENII by September 2016.
