My name is Yvonne and I'm the founder of Cardtorial.

Cardtorial takes a fun, fresh take on greeting cards and wedding invitations by crafting cards out of eco-friendly, certified American wood (that’s right, real wood!).

I design and craft Cardtorial cards in San Francisco, California. I take great pride in making the highest-quality, sustainable products focused on fun, fresh design and made wholly in the USA.

I started Cardtorial earlier this year, inspired by my desire to express myself creatively and create something truly special to share with friends and family; I really wanted to make something that would make people smile! I've always loved cards & written communication (heck, I even keep sweet post-its) and Cardtorial really is my perfect fit. Over the past several months, I’ve been sharing my cards with more and more people: telling friends, selling online (thanks Etsy!), and attending craft and design shows. I’ve gotten really great feedback and want to continue to grow!

For more detailed pictures of the cards, simply scroll down (after the rewards).

I'm here on kickstarter to launch the line of Cardtorial cards (with your help)! The proceeds will go toward full-scale crafting of Cardtorial cards, and the product launch later in Fall 2012!

To date, I've prototyped and crafted my cards using the laser cutters at Techshop, a shared workspace in San Francisco. As I grow, it's important to me that the cards continue to be crafted sustainably, right here in the US. Proceeds of this Kickstarter will go towards buying a laser cutter so I can keep production in-house and know that the cards are supporting our local economy.

Backers! You’re the best! I’ve come up with some awesome rewards (just for you)! Please note, orders (excluding invitations) include shipping within the US.
When the project is fully funded, you'll be able to select your cards directly on our website.

Make a pledge and feel free to browse, but no need to pick cards quite yet (this will happen on the website once the project has been funded). You can see the full collection on the website!
