One thing we can all agree on as DMs, is that the more time invested in planning your session, the more fun everyone is going to have. Published adventure modules have hundreds of man-hours invested into them; crafting an adventure, the npcs, the treasure and so on. My problem is that I’m a compulsively creative person. I’m an artist and an author and a nerd. I love DMing BECAUSE of the freedom to invent my own adventures. So yeah, it is a huge investment of time BUT I’m at a stage of life now where that’s okay. I’m passionate about it and, as you know, when you pursue your passions, that’s when you will create the most amazing things in your life.

We might reach the following stretch goals if you spread word of this project to fellow DMs on Facebook groups, Reddit, and elsewhere.
A simple shopping trip can unexpectedly become a formidable test of the party's abilities. Perhaps that peddler has more in store than just his wares. The clerk at the store in town cannot sell you what you want because his vault is locked and he lost the key. The best deal in town may be more than you bargained for.
An easily referenced index will allow you to quickly choose an encounter by the type of terrain, the season, urban or wilderness, traveling the road or resting in camp, day or night.
Getting from dock A to dock B is rarely as straightforward as it seems. Danger lurks below the water line but also in the cargo of other passengers. When fleeing isn't an option, quick wits may be key to surviving.
Overlooked and underused skill proficiencies have been consciously utilized throughout the book. A quick reference guide will point you to the encounters that make the most of your players' neglected backgrounds.
It's as easy as falling off a horse! Sometimes you have to push your mount in challenging ways or perform other skills while staying in the saddle. Will your players be able to finish the race?
At this level of success, the contributor copies will come with a dustjacket. AND that dustjacket will be sturdy enough to stand up on its own and act as a DM screen. This particular DM screen puts all your usual quick references at your fingertips but also includes a treasure trove of narrative aids. It is built for those DMs who like to conjure images in their players' imaginations using the power of words.
Extreme acts of nature bring out the best in people, both real and imagined. Imagine combat while wading through chest-high snow drifts, or resisting gale-force winds, or getting swept away by a flash flood.
With any reward level, you will have the option of adding the 5 Star rated Call To Adventure book of backgrounds, also written and illustrated by Jerry Joe Seltzer, for only $19 (hardcover) or $9 (paperback.
