Big thank you, both for the T- shirts but also the links for the bootleg vids. Great job on both the sound and the vision!!

If I had to nite pick....jus a lil teenie weenie bit LoL it was the fact i paid for the great man to insult not only me but also my best mate Johno. The end result..... so sad i paid for two...... and got third for free did make me laugh though and left me with a huge smile. Much love to the great man Daglish !

The gig itself and the tunes played.... just awesome. So would have loved to have been there in person to see it but that ole thing called money got in the way.

I do plan to actually get to one of these gigs one year !! LoL

Many thanks Chris for all your hard work throughout the campaign and brillant communication in keeping in touch. Very much appreciated mate.

Thanks to all who took part in making it all happen :)

As I couldn't make city I am loving vids. Thanks to all backers for making it happen and to the team and artists because without any of that some wouldn't have had a great night and the rest of us wouldn't have the pleasure of watching it. I appreciate the problems and effort and am so grateful. Thasnk you everyone.

Right, they have to change their name RIGHT NOW!

"But is everyone enjoying the video?", that's the important question... :)

      Indeed, that's the main symptom.

At 36:37 of PPOT video the volume decreases suddenly, right during Knucklebuster as well :( I guess these are some of the mixing issues you talked about before.

You know what? It's strangely in keeping with the chaotic nature of the event that the distribution of the files (despite my best efforts) is also chaotic!

OK, got SID80s link wrong. Auntie Anna said that the credits have disappeared from the end of the PPOT video: is anyone else seeing that?

Bootleg emails going out now in 5 batches. Everyone should have their links by this evening. In the end we went with H264 MP4s, and there's about 14Gb of download in total (4 + 4 + 4 + 2).

At least the video recording quality is mostly fabulous :)

I went to last BackInTime Brighton, where I did a my own bootleg using and OLD DV Camera and sometime I like to view it. I think that your recording is anyway better. As you said it is a Bootleg and not a DVD...I think it is ok to share anyway.

Indeed. Well, there have been some supportive comments on and off-line: enough I hope for the acts to be reasonably confident that they won't get blamed!

    14. Henrik Andersson on

re: the BIT Live recordings, I assume the masters sound basically like the Scenesat broadcast? It's not fantastic, but then you've never advertised it as anything but a "bootleg", right? It is what it is, a live experience. Sure there will be surly people expecting more for their money but I'm certain most people won't have a problem with it. From experience I know that PA people are a nuisance. :)

I think they is robust enough to wash. These are premium T-shirts that should last a fair while, not the crap kind. They remind me of the BIT 3 T-shirts and they lasted for literally years.

    20. Mark G on

T-Shirt arrived today chris, postal service obviously pretty good this week :)

looks nice, the logo feels a bit plastic tho, is it safe to put in washing machine or will it come off in wash

Looking at the photos Chris linked to, I must say that the look in Ben's eyes playing the flute reminds me greatly of Ian Anderson. The same piercing gaze - and that is a compliment :)

Video streaming isn't possible given the venue's bandwidth limitations, but audio streaming will be available, and will be announced soon (I just hope the mixer has enough outs for that).

No, they'll be sent by email. I'm still debating how to deal with the "backers pick up their extra stuff at BIT Brighton" thing. Things tend to get quite hectic, so it's difficult to have any system which relies on looking stuff up.

Most people's are collected immediately, but for any payment failures they have to notify, wait a few days, and then try again. Kickstarter say it can take about two weeks to sort that out.
