THANK YOU KICKSTARTERS!
Even though our Kickstarter campaign is through you can still get our great tools at www.c4labs.net
After countless designs, dozens of prototypes, and a great deal of testing, we are ready to introduce the Titanium Key System (TKS).
An active lifestyle requires certain guarantees--that you’ll be able to tackle the unexpected when it arises. Therefore we went the extra mile to create a pocket tool that makes this possible. The TKS family includes three designs.
Made with aircraft grade titanium, the TKS is durable enough to last for generations, and light enough to carry everyday.
The same height, thickness and weight of a key, this compact design easily fits onto any key ring.
An indexed wrench fits the most common metric and standard bolt sizes, for when you don’t have an entire tool box.
A 1.5” ruler is invaluable at the strangest times.
This shows wrench sizes and overall dimensions. The index wrench includes the following sizes: 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 1/4", 5/16”, 7/16”, 1/2", 9/16”
"Kestrel with Bottle Opener"
Rugged, and ready for whatever life throws your way.
The Osprey includes the same index wrenches with a two inch ruler.
A unique shape, cut from a single piece of titanium and is designed to simplify your life.
Whether at a service center, valet parking, or switching out keys, the Mini-Biner makes it easy to remove a key from your keychain.
A perfect partner for the Kestrel and Osprey pocket tools.
The Mini-biner also works as a keyring.
With the exception of bare titanium, each piece comes anodized in one of six colors at no additional charge. (You will chose your color on a survey at the end of the kickstarter.)
Timeline for production
We expect to start shipping early bird specials 30 days from funding. All others will start shipping approximately 60 days from funding.
Risks and challenges
We currently have an established relationship a local water jet cutter, and do not anticipate any problems with this stage of production.
While an interruption in the supply of titanium is unlikely, if it were to occur it would delay production.
As hard as we will try to get to your specified color, anodizing is as much of an art form as a science, so there may be small color variations from one piece to the next.
Less likely scenarios that may delay production:
-Mt. Rainer might erupt… in which case we would have bigger problems to deal with.
-All light may suddenly disappear from the universe, in which case you would not be able to see the anodizing.
-Being offered a red pill or blue pill and the truth of the Matrix being revealed.
- An apocalyptic meteor strike.
