PBS Premieres Soul Food Junkies Mon 10 PM

Dear Backers,

The time has finally come!

Soul Food Junkies will premiere nationally THIS MONDAY, JANUARY 14, 2013, at 10 p.m. on PBS’ Emmy-award winning series, Independent Lens! Please note: Although Independent Lens airs nationally on PBS, local PBS programmers can air it whenever they feel it will work best for their market. It is important that you check your local listing for the exact date and time in your area. To see when Soul Food Junkies airs in your area, click here!

In total, there will be 1,562 airings of Soul Food Junkies in nearly 175 television markets during the month of January! This is phenomenal national television coverage! Advertisements for Soul Food Junkies are currently running on PBS and in movie theaters in six U.S. cities nationwide! To see the :30 Soul Food Junkies movie ad, click here.

Needless to say, we are VERY EXCITED and hope that you are, too!

The enthusiasm and buzz for Soul Food Junkies’ national broadcast is increasing daily, and people are spreading the word around the country via email and social media! Soul Food Junkies Update

On another note, we are gearing up for our national broadcast on PBS' Emmy award-winning series, Independent Lens, Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10 p.m.  Soul Food Junkies is gaining national media attention, and as we get closer to the broadcast, there will be more and more buzz about the film's television debut.

Soul Food Junkies Ads in Theaters!

Dear Backers,

PBS' Emmy award-winning series Independent Lens informed me last night that they will run :30 second Soul Food Junkies ads in movie theaters in six major U.S. markets! The ads will run in a total of 14 movie theaters in Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia and San Francisco for two (2) weeks from Dec 28 through the national broadcast of Soul Food Junkies on January 14, 2013 at 10 pm.

If you are in any of those cities and happen to go to the movies, please get there early and look out for Soul Food Junkies on the big screen!
