That's it! 10 Easy Steps to the perfect beginning to your night out...or in!
150 Cards, Dice, and endless laughs.
THE perfect way to start or end any night.
With this, you get the full game and our first expansion, A Pack Too Far!
A value of $35 for just $35!
Look, sometimes in the writer’s room there are moments when something is pitched and everyone laughs and then immediately goes, “So...we agree that will never make it in, right?
We call those Nope cards.
This expansion says Yes to those Nopes.
We apologize for nothing. You ordered it. You get it. Strap in.
*one of our writers wanted to put in a joke about your mom, but we let him know we are definitely above that.
So, we’ve invented a thing we call a “Shot Glass.”
With this, you can transport over 1.5 ounces of any beverage from the table to your mouth!
Better yet, it’s got a bit of humor on it, so when someone notices you taking a shot and asks about it, you can break the ice by telling them, “Shut up, it’s none of your fucking business is what my glass says.”
And then you can show them your personalized Dirty Limerick that we wrote for you to make up for being so rude.*
*Seriously, this level includes one amazing and original Dirty limerick with your name in it, signed by the degenerate who authored it.
We just added a T-shirt! And not just any T-Shirt*, this is the official Bye Bye Liver “Rated D for Drunk” shirt!
It’s honest, let’s people know what they can expect and be forewarned. It does not absolve you of anything you do, however, and cannot prevent brownouts.
Also, you will get a filthy picture drawn by one of our team. It will probably be terrible.
It will definitely be autographed. It will not be erotic. Don’t expect that.
This is it. Our best (and weirdest) prize.
We're going to put YOU (and a friend) in the game!
That's right. We'll take whatever self pic you send and turn it into actual art on one of the cards in the game itself...immortalizing you in the disturbing manner you always hoped for! Now you can also add a friend to the game. Do you have an idiot friend you like to mess with?
Also, we will Photoshop you partying with the celebrity of your choice.
It won’t be signed by the celebrity, because we have no pull with anyone...but it will have a pithy message that looks like the two of you had an amazing night together and probably bonded over something possible illegal.
There are only two of these, because we want our names on the fucking box, too. But you will forever be on the first edition of Bye Bye Liver: The Party Game.
So don’t go on to do anything criminal or to shame us, for fuck’s sake.
This is a respectable game.
We’re going to use the extra milestones we hit and money we get to upgrade the game for you, our community!
Here’s how it works: We’ve put together a list of the things that we think will help grow “Bye Bye Liver” even more and make it the best party game possible, and we need your help to get it out there.
It’s simple stuff, like leaving comments on our Kickstarter or liking our Facebook page. But, the more people that do it, the more we spread the word, and the more we can keep adding to the game!
The full list of upgrades we want to add is below...and before that are the milestones we need to hit to unlock the upgrades. Basically, when we hit a certain number of these milestones (see below), we’ll add that UPGRADE to the game!
And the Milestones will color in as we hit them.
Thank you for being a part of this, and we can’t wait to start having the party of a lifetime with you! Please help us keep spreading the word about your game. We want to make the best party game ever as fancy as can be!
Some folks have asked about adding on extra games or decks or such, so we’ve made it easy.
If you want any of the add-ons below all you have to do is add that amount to your current pledge. To do this log in and click “Manage your pledge”. Then under "Change your pledge" add the amount for the add on/s you want. Don’t worry at the end of the campaign a survey is sent out asking exactly what you pledged for. So we will know exactly what to send to your door.

Byron Hatfield created Bye Bye Liver in 2006 in Chicago. It has since become a national show, performed and loved nationally in the US and Canada. He owned The Public House Theatre in Chicago until 2018. He now lives in Atlanta where he continues to write and produce and is currently working on his first feature film. He feels very blessed by his success and by the wonderful people that have been around to help is grow at every stage.
Patrick Lothian met Byron while working on the Chicago internet television network Maybe Hip. This led to them working together on small film projects including the TV pilot The Show Might Go On. He lives with his wife and two dogs in Knoxville and is a web and graphic designer.
Sasha Hatfield is a content contributor, editor and writer-wrangler, responsible for Byron's best ideas. She is an award-watching actress, best known for insurance commercials, video games and "Bye Bye Liver: The Boston Drinking Play." All butt and poop jokes are lovingly dedicated to Sasha and Byron's 3-year-old.
Risks and challenges
Bye Bye Liver and its parent company, BBL Productions, LLC, have been around for over 12 years. We’re not new to the Drinking and Laughing crowd. We’ve been doing it live over all that time, and have collected tons of great material from 12 different shows in as many cities. The game itself was almost 100% finished, from package design to gameplay, before this Kickstarter even began.
We’re also an already funded and established company that’s taking on a new journey..so it’s unlikely that we’ll suddenly meet a roadblock that doesn’t allow us to finish what we started here.
Having said that, dealing with physical manufacturing is a first for us. We are also already far down the road with this manufacturing, however. That would be the only risk we could foresee, in terms of a delay. But, in regards to that, we have attempted to get well ahead of the process before launching this campaign.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to learn about us and our project, and we wish you the best.
