"As the sun sank into the Las Vegas desert on June 24th 2010, the future of the Bus Stop Stallions was uncertain. Could their trusty van, Crosswinds, be repaired? Would they make it back to Austin, Texas in time to save their day jobs and romantic relationships? Would their disgruntled neighbors from the Petaluma KOA track them down and demand recompense?
Luckily for the world, the Bus Stop Stallions returned triumphantly from the desert to record their forthcoming album (titled Crosswinds). Like their previous recordings, Crosswinds is an amalgam of many influences and styles. Heavy doses of funk and rock spiced with jazz and soul give the Bus Stop Stallions the sonic flavor of a top-shelf bourbon -- full, aged, yet with the sting and the sweetness of something fresh."
We are the Bus Stop Stallions, a eight-piece soul rock band from Austin, TX. We've been rocking faces since 2006, travelling all across Texas and the western U.S. We ride in our trusty passenger van named Crosswinds playing hundreds of shows, bringing our music to everyone we can, and releasing 2 albums along the way. It's been a funky good time, but with your help we hope to make all of that just the beginning to a much bigger story.
Over the past 6 months we've been recording our 3rd full length album, entitled "Crosswinds," featuring some of our current favorites from our live shows, as well as some new tracks that you may not have heard yet. We think this is our finest album yet and it is almost ready to be set free into the world.
That's where you come in. We've been able to self-finance production, recording, and mixing costs but we'd greatly appreciate and need your help and partnership with the final push to release. We need to raise the money to master, press, package, release and promote the album. We hope you enjoy the video we made and will please pass it along to anyone you think would be interested in helping out. As little as $10 gets you a digital pre-order of the album, and every bit counts!
Thanks so much for your support over all the years!
