Busy? 1-click Vote here for Hydrobee! Thanks!

Hydrobee founder and president, Burt Hamner, was featured in the September issue of Autodesk Inventing the Future. Now you can vote for Hydrobee as your favorite inventor in this contest. Please vote! It takes just 5 seconds and makes a big difference to us. Autodesk has been a big promoter of Hydrobee, and we are delighted to promote their amazing software. Voting is under way and closes March 13 at 5 p.m. Pacific time. Vote now!

Autodesk is one of the world's top makers of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. For more than eight years, Autodesk has identified the most innovative customers among hundreds of thousands of designers and engineers that create using Autodesk Digital Prototyping tools. Each month they feature one inventor from the Autodesk Manufacturing community in their Inventing the Future blog. Now they are inviting votes for 2014 Inventor of the Year from among the dozen companies featured in 2014.

Autodesk helps us design our products to be as eco-friendly as possible. The Autodesk Inventor software includes the Eco-Materials Adviser module that provides environmental impact analysis of the materials in products, so designers can easily compare materials and designs to reduce impacts. That's a huge advantage. As we say, don't try to turn designers and engineers into environmentalists - instead, give them the "green" tools to be better at their jobs.

Thanks for your vote for Hydrobee as Inventor of the Year at Autodesk!  Learn more about our unique design features on our blog.

Hydrobee founder Burt Hamner was profiled recently by Impact Hub Seattle, where Hydrobee is based.  We hop you will enjoy this short story, Life After Eureka.
