That sounds great, thanks for taking on feedback! :)

@Joey I will be sending out an update in a few minutes with information about that. Not to worry, we'll take care of you :)

@The Glass Die, we'll be in touch. The BackerKit for you is just for your address collection. Thanks!

to add to previous, and to replies:
I too have backed a lot of KS's, and aye, 2weeks is pretty damn short (too short). I appreciate that you want to get it done and not have to chase people, but aye, a little extension should accommodate everyone.
If the middle ground here is to lock it on the current date (early april), but not charge cards until later (say end of april/early may), that could indeed work for me. I already know 100% what I want, that's not the issue... it's simply not having funds that week is all.

Should retailers not fill out this survey that was sent? I was under the impression that we would be paying the remaining balance through BackerKit, but it’s not charging me more than the deposit.

@Becca, we won't lock addresses until we are closer to fulfilment. That will likely be October. @Josh the deluxe version DOES include the metal coins.

Does the deluxe version include the metal coins?

After how long will the addresses be locked? I should find out in late April or early May if I'll be moving before delivery is expected.

Thanks @Andy! It is true @Andreas and @Meeple Foundry, we'll send you a link to your own personal BackerKit surveys.

Yes @Dominic, we find that with a short window more people complete their surveys right away and that there is less chasing after backers. But it seems like this window is too short for a few backers. It looks like we might close the pledges but not charge the cards for a few weeks.

I have over 100 projects backed, I cant think of a single one that closed the Pledge manager after just 2 weeks. I would say the average is around 2 months.

@Andy Bradford, thank you for your response

    13. Andy Bradford on

@meeple foundry. You will get an email with a link to the survey.

This may sound a little bit silly for some of you more experienced bakers, but this is our first pledge via Kickstarter. How does the survey work? Is it sent via our registered email on Kickstarter or do we need to sign up on BackerKit in order to be able to let you know our address?
      Thank you in advance :)

Will you sent out emails with links to BackerKit, or will you have to create an account by yourself? (I don't have an account there yet)

      Finally, a short PM window!

@The Cardboard Family, we'll be so excited to meet you!!!!!

    18. Burnt Island Games 2-time creator on

Hello @backers! I hear what you are saying. We have run 6 campaigns at this point and always have a two week window. We have never had anyone ask for more time. We will go over the time constraints and get back to you about it. We'll do our best to accommodate.

Gonna echo what others are saying here 2 week pledge manager is going to lose you a lot of sales, the standard on most other campaigns is at least a month and usually several months. I wont have the funds by the begging of April so that will be me out if thats the deadline set in stone.

We're not 100% certain about returning to Origins, but if we do go, you'd better believe we'll be spending a fair amount of time at your booth! Otherwise, we'll see you at Essen!

yeah, PM open for just 2 weeks? what gives? should be open for at least 4-5 weeks to allow for people's pay schedules (some are paid monthly after all ...).

PM phase is too short. can you plz keep it open longer for backers that need to upgrade?
