The Big $10k!

Congrats to us all for reaching a heck of a milestone... Over $10,000 raised. This means we'll be able to afford artwork to supplement our great photography of professionally-painted miniatures and terrain. Next on the stretch goal hit list is $11,000... If we reach that mark we'll add a whole bunch more narrated audio to both The Crucible module and the Interactive GM Walkthrough, and possibly even to some of our add-on supplements.

We're gearing up for what we hope to be an active final two days, once potential backers who starred the "Remind Me" checkbox get their e-mail notification.

Meanwhile, one important update we need to let you guys know about... All the embedded audio works fine with Adobe Reader on a PC or Mac (and you can try it out by downloading a preview of our module), but when using the module on a tablet, you will instead need to click a link that will take you to our website to play the audio. We'll also make all of our audio narration files available as mp3 downloads.

All other features work as planned on both computers and tablets, but we wanted to let you know about this one tablet compatibility issue before the end of the campaign.

We considered that (and it's still a possibility). But it would probably be better in general to just add a small icon that can take people to the external link on all versions. This way if someone opens the PDF in a web browser (where embedded audio will not work) instead of using Adobe Reader, they can still click through to the audio.

Perhaps a "Tablet" version would be an option so that the links are clear?

      Perhaps that's not needed. =)

Thank you for the update and congrats on 10K!
