We are not native English speakers. However, we are well aware of our limitations. We will hire a professional copy editor to edit all the texts that will go to print. We want to make this game as good as humanly possible for us, and that includes hiring a professional copy editor.

No, it isn't. The graphic design of the rulebook, the art book and the game box will be designed by the same team that has designed the rest of the game, including the cards and boards.

The game is significantly lighter than most RPGs and the base mechanics can be learnt in less than 20 minutes. Additionally, it is very easy for a new player to join a group that already knows how to play.
FAITH's mechanics are meant to keep the game as simple as possible, thus shifting the focus towards the story and the actual role playing. To that end, we decided to put everything on the table (literally) and use mechanics from board games for non role-playing related mechanics: keeping track of and displaying information.

The base game can accommodate up to three players and a Game Master, and it can include an additional player using a regular poker deck, or a player deck from the add-on list. The Deluxe Version already includes an extra player deck.
However, the only real limit to the size of the group is how many players is the GM willing to take. During play testing we have found that it works best with three to four players plus the GM.

Faith is a traditional pen and paper RPG that uses no pen and no paper. Its main characteristic is the use of cards instead of dice rolls to resolve actions. It is a game about telling stories and going on adventures, not a game about hacking countless hordes of monsters.

You only have to write down the name, age and profession of your character. From that point on, you can use the tokens we provide to customise your character sheet with the correct values, upgrades and even the character illustration.
Additionally, the most important equipment comes in cards, many in-game effects like viruses, damage and ammunition have their own tokens and many non player characters also come in cards.Last updated: -
For one, we love cards. But more importantly, we want to put the art on the table. We love those old school beautifully illustrated books, but once you learn the rules they stay in the shelf. By putting the art on the cards we hope to get you inspired and immersed in the story.
Additionally, the gear and NPC cards contain all the game information you need to use them, so there is no need to stop the game to check what the heck the scope of your rifle does: it is written right there on the back of the card.Last updated: -
Of course you can! Each time you finish your player deck, you will receive experience points. However, we do like to reward “learning by doing”, so you will have to actually use each skill to be able to improve it, or behave according to the designs of your God to be able to get more Divine powers.

No, you are not. You can always download the free blank character sheet from our website, and you can create your own gear and NPCs.
Additionally, with your support we will be able to release many expansions in the future that will include new gear, new NPCs and new characters!

Yes you can.

Yes, you can, but you will need to create a second Kickstarter account to do so. Alternatively, you can add additional rewards to your pledge level using the add-on list.

Our game has a lot of components, making it heavy. We have worked hard to get the best solution for our international backers. Nevertheless, shipping to certain countries is indeed very costly.

The countries we have listed are those that we have found reasonable shipping options for. If your country is not listed, please drop us a line and we'll see what we can do.
