Our Quick Draw Minimalist 1.0 was designed back in 2016 and the key differences between the two is that 2.0 has 4 exterior "Quick Draw" pockets and the ID window inside. 1.0 has two exterior "Quick Draw" pockets on one side and ID window on the other.
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips easily store and transmit data for credit cards, debits cards, and passports that they are embedded in. With RFID technology, all you have to do is wave your card in front of an RFID scanner to complete a transaction. Unfortunately, someone can build a counterfeit reader and pick up your RFID information without your knowledge. Scanners are now as small as smartphones or even a 9v battery and are normally placed areas where millions of people pass through. This allows thieves to easily capture your info as you walk by.
RFID blocking wallets, do just as they say - they block these counterfeits from capturing your information! We created our wallets using top of the line RFID blocking technology that you can trust. Using a unique blend of composite metals, our wallets block both low and high frequencies at 125KHz, 10MHz to 3000 MHz signals. This includes 13.56 MHz which is what credit cards use. Digital thieves will be firewalled from accessing your personal information and you can have peace of mind.
Yes, if you place it in the Quick Draw pocket you can push it out with your thumb or finger until the chip is exposed and then scan. Please watch our "Quick Draw in Action" video. The other option is to place it in the ID Window pocket, which is not RFID blocking.
