Bottles. Bikes. And now bags.
The MiiR story begins with a stainless bottle. We set out to redesign a timeless object, make it with the highest ethical standards, and provide clean water to those without.
Since 2010, with your help, we have partnered with communities to build 44 wells, started a bicycle line providing 3000 bikes locally and globally, opened a Kickstarter funded Flagship Store in Seattle, and now the story carries on with bags that empowering education. We need your help to make this happen!
MiiR bags are driven to perform. From work to play, these bags are designed to empower your daily endeavors. They are unobtrusive and neutral, yet elegant and beautiful. True to MiiR, these bags are manufactured with B Corp standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
Bags + Education = Empowerment
MiiR bags invest in the education of students around the world through projects of improving physical school structures, providing students with resources like scholarships, and equipping teachers with exceptional and training resources.
Track Your Impact We believe in transparent giving. Each bag includes a unique Track Your Impact code. Register the code and receive GPS coordinates and photos of the education project your bag helped build.
Transparency is a beautiful thing.
Thank you for supporting the MiiR Bag line! Share it with your friends, and kickstart the next phase of designing to empower.
Huge thanks to WonderCamp for the video & Greg Balkin for photography on this project.
Risks and challenges
We have successfully crowdfunded four projects (tumblers, bicycles, growlers, MiiR Flagship) over the last four years and have a wealth of knowledge in producing and delivering new, quality products. Even though bags are a new material for us, we have partnered with top suppliers and spent over a year working on this line. In the world of manufacturing, quality products take time and there can be delays. If there are delays we will notify backers as soon as we know and as always, we will make it right.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
