Got my copy today in Malaysia
Just got my copy of Tools of Hero-Kind in Toronto. It's a great surprise!
@ Christopher Tam
I know that even with things being all mailed together, the post office doesn't necessary process it all together and customs can take its own time even on the same package being sent as part of batch. From what I remember, it can take 2-4 weeks from the US to Canada via the method that BWG is sending it. So even though you haven't gotten it yet, and others have within the same area, it's still within the allotted time slot.
The expansion, I mean.
Still waiting for my copy in Toronto, wonder when it is coming.
Got my copy today in Canada. Looks great, cards and packaging and everything. Thanks BWG for the upgrade to physical copy of Tools.
Got my copy of Tools yesterday. Toronto.
Played one game and man, that really shakes things up. We got a bunch of easy items first and it seemed fine but then things spiraled out of control and I took like 5 wounds on one turn. I guess I need to plan better.
Just got mine today(in Canada). Haven't opened it yet, as I am waiting for games night.
I haven't gotten it in Canada yet. :(
Mine, too :o)
Mine arrived today here in Germany (BaWu) via HZA Giessen
Any Germans or Austrians got their copy?
Still no ToHK here. :) Hoping it didn't get lost in the mail!
Just received ToHK here in the UK, thanks guys, the box looks really great :)
@ Brian O'Neill
It's not the prototype expansion, but actual retail version we'll be getting. It there's any delay, I'd imagine that the package is probably going through customs, which can take its own time to get through.
Still nothing here in Arizona. Hopefully it shows up monday.
Have people in Europe got the prototype expansion ? I am in Ireland and backed at the "THE EXTRA LIFE" level. Nothing has arrived here.
@ Andy Dudley
I'm not sure if it was specify if it was one per a backer or one per a pledge. You're best bet would be to contact BWG directly. Last time I had an issue, they were extremely prompt with a reply and took care of it right away.
ToHK received in Israel!
The game got much better with this expansion!!
Received in Spain!!
Well, that was a nice surprise... TOHK arrived completely out of the blue.
Just one question: I pledged for 2x Extra Life, I thought I would get 2xTOHK, but only one showed up.
Was it one per pledge, or one copy per backer? Anyone else received less than they were expecting?
@ Dave K
Last I remember, there wasn't a shipping notice first time around (for the actual game) and more than likely, it should be the same.
Did anyone receive a shipping notice for the expansion, or did it just show up?
I got Tools today (NYC). The weather is probably slowing down shipments.
Tools of Hero-Kind arrived today. Alaska.
Just got mine today too :)
Should all the US copies have arrived by now? I don't seem to have mine yet.
Just got my expansion, also in Wales. Totally forgot this was coming!
Expansion arrived! Woo!
Just arrived in Wales, UK!
Loving the box, time to sleeve up and play some Boss Monster!
Received my ToHK expansion in the mail today. Everything looks great. Thank you!
Got my ToHK in Nebraska yesterday. Nice expansion, can't wait to play it this weekend. I do agree I've got to find a way to keep the box with everything else, it's too cool to lose.
ToHK just arrived in Manchester, UK. Have to agree though ... I want to keep the cards together but the box is just too nice to abandon.
Got ToHK today, such a good surprise! Packaging == awesome
Mine just arrived in Maryland!
What a happy surprise yesterday to get a mystery package! Tools of the Trade landed on the East Coast (Philly)!
The Gameboy Cart Spoof box is too funny. I almost hate to take the cards out and put them in the base game. I'll have to keep the little box somewhere neat in the Gaming Den
Just got a pleasant surprise in the mail today. The expansion looks awesome! :D
Received my expansion, loving the box!
Had a great suprise last night to find the Tools of a Hero Kind expansion in my mailbox!
Got my expansion today, had no idea these were going out - glad my address hadn't changed :)
It's here! It's here! Tools of Hero-Kind has the cutest package ever.
John, I'm happy to say that all backers' expansions (including our international backers') are in the mail. US backers should be receiving their expansions this week. International backers should get them next week, or longer, depending on how quick the post is where they live.
Thanks to everyone for making this happen! It's so nice to be able to follow through on our promises to you, the folks who got us off the ground.
And to our upper unlimited lives backers who get free copies of all our future expansions, stay tuned to Brotherwise Games (our Facebook page is the best place to do this). We'll be Kickstarting Boss Monster 2 within the year, and we intend to keep expansions coming for the foreseeable future!
When will we as backers be receiving the expansion?
While there will be a few pre-release events before February 5th, that's the official release date for Tools of Hero-Kind, and when you can expect to find it in stores. Pre-orders through our website will ship earlier than that, of course.
So when can we expect ToHK? I know it was released recently
I know it'll take some time before the expansion ships and arrives, but honestly excited to get the message and I can't wait to get it. Amazing jobs BWG!
I agree with anthony, you guys did very well and delivered exactly what you promised. Even companies who have made several things like CMON still cannot get shipping estimates even remotely right. I am glad I am a lifer for BWG
I believe the details of the development and the test playing of the expansion is probably on the BWG forums. But regardless, it looks amazing.
I don't see where people are posting about...a detail on the art you showed for the new expansion in today's email.
But damn! That came out of nowhere! I AM HYPED FOR IT!
We're still reading, Anthony! And thank you so much!
