Our initial vision for LOCKER 13 was to independently write, produce and shoot separate stories, all connected by a mysterious locker 13 and then to put them together to form the final film. For each segment of the film, we planned on raising the money and going through each of the 3 stages of Pre-Production, Production, and Post Production individually from each other, so that at any given time during the project, we had one segment in Pre, one in Production and one in Post, until we were finished with the film.
This worked perfectly for all 5 segments and we were able to recruit top talent in cast and crew for the unique project including such Award-Winners as Academy Award Winning Cinematographer Russell Carpenter (for Titanic) and Golden Globe Winner Ricky Schroder (for The Champ).
Now, here we are on the home stretch, AND WE NEED YOUR HELP TO FINISH THE FILM. The money we raise will be used for post-production, sound, music, editing and marketing for the finished film.
Locker 13 is the story of Skip (Jason Spisak, The Vampire Diaries), a young ex-convict who takes a position as a night janitor at an old-west theme park. His supervisor Archie (Jon Gries, Napoleon Dynamite), teaches him the ropes, but more importantly attempts to convey critical philosophical messages through a series of four stories: a down and out boxer (Ricky Schroder, NYPD Blue, Silver Spoons, The Champ) is given the opportunity to become a real golden gloves killer; an assassin (Rick Hoffman, Suits, Battleship) kidnaps three people in order to find out who hired him for his latest hit; a new recruit (Bart Johnson, High School Musical) is initiated into a lodge of fez-wearing businessmen where hazing can take a malevolent turn; and a member of a suicide club (Jason Marsden, Boy Meets World, White Squall) introduces real fear into a man about to jump to his death. The four stories suddenly come into play when Skip is faced with a life-or-death decision of his own.

If you're not familiar with Kickstarter or how it will work, here's a brief overview. For the next 30 days, you'll be able to make pledges to help support this project, ranging from $1 to whatever you can afford without your spouse/parent/financial advisor slapping you. For your pledge, you can select one of the reward packages—listed to the right—of equal or lesser value to your pledge. You can always pledge more than the minimum to get a reward if you want. Your credit card or other account will not actually be charged at the time you make your pledge, and you can change your mind right up to the final deadline.
If the final deadline comes and we've reached our goal, then everyone gets charged the amount they pledged at once and we will put that money to work in post production and getting the film released. But if for some reason we don't meet our goal, then the whole thing is called off. No one gets charged, no fees are applied, everyone just keeps their money. So there's no risk of putting up money and then getting nothing. Of course, if we fail to meet the goal, then no one gets any rewards, either, and some of these rewards are pretty cool.

Risks and challenges
The risk in a feature film is in finding a distributor for the film and getting the film into theatres and on DVD/Blu-Ray.
We have not signed any distribution deals yet but we are very confident that with this cast of recognizable actors we will be able to overcome this and get the film distributed.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
