Happy new year! Production and shipping

Posted by Broken Mill (Creator)

It's the first update of 2019, so happy new year to you all!

Mass production is well underway, but it looks like we won't be able to finish it before Chinese New Year, which starts at the end of January.

We're still on schedule, and soon after the Chinese holidays, most of the 2000 games will be loaded up onto 2 ships, one going to the United States and the other heading to Europe.

Backers from Australia, New Zealand and Asia don't have to worry either. We're planning to send those games by air, because it wouldn't make sense to book a ship for such a small number of games.

The rest of the world will be covered by the US shipment.

I'm also very close to finishing the Print & Play version. I'll send out a download link by the end of the week.

Lastly, here's a photo I received which shows the improved insert. Very basic, but the 2 trenches are wide enough for sleeved cards, and there's enough space for more cards from a potential expansion.

Thank you, and I hope 2019 will be a great gaming year for everyone!

@Broken Mill thank you! I'll look into that brand. Cheap or ugly sleeves can deduct from the experience. I don't sleeve all my games because of that.

I want sleeves that are pleasant to touch and play with, without them distracting from the artwork and asthetics of a game. Every game is a little work of art and sleeving changes it slightly like frames around a picture.

@Jonas, The cards are standard poker / Magic: the Gathering size, and there are 162 cards in total. I use Dragon Shield sleeves myself. They have matte versions as well, but I think they're a bit more expensive.

      Love it!
What is the best size for the sleeves?

Can anyone reccomend a brand for sleeves? I don't like the shiny ones from ultrapro I'll be looking for clear but thin and a dull surface against reflectons.

      +1 for an expansion

So you won't beat CNY, but that still leaves plenty of time to hit your planned May fulfillment. Sounds like everything is progressing as planned. Good luck the rest of the way, I'm very looking forward to this.
