Prepping for Launch!
Hello dear Kickstarter supporters!
It's been a big whirlwind of activity in the past month here at Broken Compass - we really need to update you on the latest! Here's the skinny on fat Catball:
- The Broken Compass team was invited to the Leonardo museum in Utah, and we had a blast showing our game to visitors, and the process of painting-to-video game. Check out photos of our time there on our Facebook page.
- Nearly all of the rewards for Kickstarter backers have been sent out, or are on the way. If you've received yours, please tell us if you liked it! Our lucky iPhone beta-testers have given us excellent feedback on the game, and we've been improving relentlessly.
- In our effort to raise Catball awareness, we've signed on with a professional video game PR agency to reach out to all sorts of gaming and news sites, to bring Catball to broader audiences than we can reasonably do on our own - with the added effect of allowing us to focus on making Catball that much better. :)
Finally, we are getting ever closer to the finishing line of launching Catball. In the past 8 months, Catball has gone from playful ideas, to rough concept, to sketches, to prototypes, then to full-on production, and from there we have been polishing and polishing. Kickstarter backer support was a really crucial part of lifting this off - as always, thank you for reading and supporting indie developers like us!
We will have an even better trailer up very shortly, and we'd like to entice you with even more Catball goodies (if you haven't gotten enough) with our Eat It All Contest.
