From the 1960's and early 70's Cold War era, these 28mm Pulp Spies and Henchmen miniatures will add some personality to your pulp games. Our add ons and stretch goals are for additional miniatures.
This is a 21 day campaign. We end on Thursday, May 29.
We created these 28mm metal cast miniatures for gamers and collectors. Our goal is to get these into production to provide a nice variety of spies and henchmen miniatures that can be used in a variety of pulp games and in many different rule sets.
The final master figures are all on slotta tabs and the production models will come with round plastic bases. All miniatures are supplied unpainted.
We have set our initial funding target at $3000 which will help cover the production costs for over 24 new miniatures in the initial part of the campaign.
We have some additional miniatures being worked on as stretch goals.
With over 54 ranges to date under our belt in the BrigadeGames.com brand, plus the Rattrap Miniatures brand, why go the Kickstarter route?
We have run 3 successful Kickstarters in the past few years. While time consuming, a Kickstarter gives me the ability to get a range up and going and to breakeven much quicker than normal.
I have always had many of ideas for ranges. The continual need to expand current ranges and keep newly released imported items arriving requires a large amount of continual investment. Kickstarter will allow me to show off and reach many more potential gamers than I could do with traditional advertising and marketing. KS will allow us to get these wonderful miniatures into the hands of more gamers faster than we have been able to do in the past.
Pulp gaming has always been a favorite. I have always intended on doing a spies range and I hope the products and concepts presented are worthy of the wait.
Our Total Package Pledge is the Station Chief. This includes all 24 minis, including both Henchmen packs, and includes all free rewards.
The minis for the Henchmen III stretch goal are currently in process.
The minis for the British Agents II stretch goal are currently in process.
Each year we ship thousands of packages a year across the world so we have plenty of experience in shipping. We will always be as efficient and cost effective as possible.
Postage will be additional for all pledge levels and will be collected separately after via the pledge manager. The addition of add-ons to your pledge may add additional shipping and depends upon the final volume and weight of the parcel. Postage may increase based on how many free stretch goals are met and if you are at a level that includes the free rewards or have added add-ons to your order.
We will do our best to estimate the proper shipping in the pledge manager backer survey sent at the conclusion of the campaign.
If you do not add the appropriate postage or if the incorrect amount is added to your pledge, you will be billed for the amount due after the Kickstarter closes.
Postage estimate for up to approximately 10 miniatures: $9 USA, $12 Canada, $16 worldwide.
Postage estimate for up to approximately 45 miniatures: $12 USA, $17 Canada, $25 worldwide.
Postage estimate for up to approximately 46-105 miniatures: $13 USA, $25 Canada, $36 worldwide.
To add a book, this might add $1-3 depending upon your location and pledge. Overseas it will depend on total parcel weight.
International Shipping will be additional for all pledge levels. The addition of add-ons to your pledge may add additional shipping and depends upon the final volume and weight of the parcel. We will do our best to estimate the proper shipping in the pledge manager. Postage may increase based on how many free stretch goals are met and if you are at a level that includes the free rewards or have added add-ons to your order.
Adding any printed rule books, vehicles or terrain may increase the domestic and international postage because it changes how we can ship the items. These costs will be in the pledge manager backer survey we will send to all backers once the Kickstarter is over.
I am the owner of BrigadeGames.com and have been in business for 18 years (since 2000) importing great wargaming products and creating our own ranges of miniatures. We are known world-wide as a producer of very high quality historical and fantasy miniatures. BrigadeGames is a one man band with occasional help from college age and young adult children, but we have talented members of our team. The miniatures are sculpted by Mark Evans. The painting has been done by Dave Taylor. Molding and casting is being done in the USA.
Risks and challenges
The miniatures shown have been sculpted and mastered and are awaiting production molding and casting. Higher stretch goal miniatures are currently being sculpted. The risks are minimal for Brigade Games as we have been in business for over 18 years and have over 2500 miniatures that we have had sculpted, molded and cast in the historical and fantasy miniatures market under our own brand. For this project, we are using a contract molder and caster that we already have an established relationship. We do not anticipate any major issues or delays.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
