No, but this was intentional. LEGO plates were not secured to our various brick cabinets for a few reasons:
1. We adhered LEGO base plates to a few of our prototype Brick BOSS Tables, however, the majority of the feedback was that, although they seemed like a good idea initially, they got in the way more often than not.
2. Most LEGO builders have a few 10” x 10” brick plates as part of their collection already.
3. We didn’t want to have to add $40-50 to the base price of our products to purchase something that customers probably already had.
If you do want to outfit your build table or cabinet with LEGO base plates, we recommend doing so with carpet tape (i.e. double sided duct tape) as it provides a really strong hold but can also be removed if you ever change your mind. It can be found at your local hardware store or here:
The two links below are great base plate options that are a little cheaper than the LEGO brand base plates, but still have good clutch (i.e. how well bricks stick together) to hold pieces in place.
