      Hi Frederick Ebert,
Thanks for the feedback. "How to clean the Press-Bot in a desert environment," is a great question. The technique that I use is the "Shake and Disperse." Here is how it goes. Remove the Press-Bot, from the Nalgene bottle, and tap off the excess grounds. Take the Nalgene and give it a vigorous side-to-side shake, to break-up the 'puck' of grounds. Then, discreetly disperse across the landscape with a quick swing of the arm. This method should leave very few coffee grounds to be rinsed out.
Please remember to check with "Leave No Trace" ethics of the area you are visiting. If local protocol requires that you pack out the grounds, you can easily hold a plastic bag over the mouth of the bottle during the 'disbursement' step of this method. Thanks again.
      Happy Hiking,
      Brian

I would like some ideas on cleaning BP to minimize water use. Desert camping makes that an essential skill. Multiple rinses consume precious water and are not a real option. But I don't want gritty coffee either.

The press-bot arrived in the Netherlands! Very nice quality product, I'm impressed. Tomorrow I'll get a Nalgene bottle and produce some nice drinks! Thank you!

Just got my press bot in today..did a test run will my little alcohol burning "stever stove" out back and everything worked great! (and the north rim roast was delicious) Defiantly earned its spot in my adventure-riding/camping backpack..and I think one of the stickers you sent will make its way onto my duel sports fender! Well have to share a pot..or nalgene bottle =P..next time Im riding up in flagstaff. Thanks guys for a great product!

For Add-ons, I understand that KS might not allow multiples of the press-bot, although that would be an obvious add-on. Still, I have picked up a few extra at your web-site. Still, it would be nice to be able to pick up some extra of your Nalgene bottles (I think that this should be OK with KS, since it is not the principle item that is being backed). People might like an extra coozy as well. Will the Coozies have your logo on them?

Hi Brian! Congrats with the enormous support of your nice product! Instead of PM-ing you, I wanted to ask whether the bottles contain the metric system on it or the 'other' system? As a Dutchie/European pledger, I still need to use google once in a while to calculate oz to liter :-). In case 'no metric'-system, I'll buy my own Nalgene :-).
Thanks in advance and have fun with this kickstarter!

I add turbinado sugar to my espresso grinds before pressing with my current setup at home. Got a Cuban espresso thing going. Looking forward to using my nalgene bottle on the go for the same thing. Awesome idea.

Greetings fellow Flagstaff-onian! Just backed for the bottle -- it will make an awesome gift for a friend. Plus I get to support someone local to me. :)

Question: I see you are selling these online. Can I also get one at Late For the Train? (If, say, I decide I need one for myself, later?)

      Hi Sam,
I appreciate your good review of the Press-Bot. Glad to hear that you are still using your original 'bot'. I know they have been super reliable for all of our guided backpack trips, into Grand Canyon.
      Thanks again,
