About this project
On a quiet morning in Guadalcanal a faint hum rolls over the hills from the north. A Japanese Raiden stalks over the treeline. Suddenly a squadron of Imperial Zeros ascend from behind the hills opening fire, deafening all other noises. Take flight! Engage your enemies and protect your allies in the Roaring Skies!
Our vision is to create a game in which friends and foes engage in aerial battle. Strategy and camaraderie are crucial for survival and mastery. This is no puny side-scrolling game; players will flank, gank, and fleet you from every angle. Team work is essential, mavericks will not prevail. Choose your upgrades wisely, as a fighter-pilot’s salary is based purely on their head count.
The first iteration of the game will be a multi-player focused version of the game; allowing players to play online in a plethora of game types including Deathmath, DotA, Onslaught, Capture the Flag and more to come. Various player configurations will exist including 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, 8v8 and Free for All.
Our intent is to create a game that carries a unique teamwork centric approach to multi-player game play. The design is focused on enabling ally collaboration strategies such as luring an enemy force to a position to enable an unforeseen flanking attack. Hold a tight formation to penetrate and recede without penalty.
Later iterations of the game will include a single player mode which is planned to include a campaign with selectable levels of AI difficulty as well as online rankings.
We are Brew Engine, a small indie team located in the northern San Francisco Bay Area. Our super stealthy coding ninjas are experts at whipping up plates of code pasta. This game is a considerable undertaking for such a small indie team, but this is no pipe dream; we are a talented group and are dedicating our hearts to this game. We already have a beta version in the Android Market but we need your support to make this game truly stand out. Your support will help with:
