MILLENNIALS (THE GAME)
A Game designed to help you forget about your JOB & get back to what really matters: OTHER STUFF.
Players take turns drawing cards until somebody gets a job (card), and loses the game. But the deck has other cards to help you avoid getting a job by peeking before you draw, shuffling the deck, targeting other players and so on.
As more cards are taken from the deck, the more intense the game and likely players are to get a job (card) and waste away in office sadness.
Created by Brent Thomas & Jack Pantalena, this game is an ironic example of the real-life experiences that have led to us identifying ourselves and our friends as "Millennials".
So if you're looking for a way to feel accomplished without having to get a job, or even off the couch. Please help us make you this game.

WHERE IT BEGAN:
Ironically, we think of ourselves as the inspiration to Millennials (The Game). Having both left 'typical office jobs' to pursue our entrepreneurial efforts, we began joking about the nature of our own lives as Millennials, and the ball started rolling from there. We immediately began brainstorming how to share the irony of Millennials with the world.
It became a buzzword. We began hearing the word "Millennial" everyday on TV, social media, and even with our friends. And we figured someone had to do something about this. Logically, we began working on a card game.
Initially our ideas kept coming up 'Cards Against Humanity'. Meaning, we couldn't figure out how to eliminate the need for a judge in the game. Eventually we realized that we wanted to create a fast paced game that was easy to learn, awesome to play and downright funny.
The only problem was that neither Jack nor I had any legitimate graphic design experience. And our idea was put on hold. That is, until we met with an old friend, Catherine Kelly, who helped us bring life to our Millennial Characters. She is a beyond talented graphic design artist and her creativity has allowed this game to flow so naturally.
With our designs finished and ready to go, we've shifted our focus to this KickStarter campaign, where we look to help your inner-millennial shine.
Risks and challenges
Having sample decks in hand and ready to produce allows for the production process to be fairly straightforward. The next step is to determine how many decks should we print in our first run. And that's why we're coming to KickStarter. Not only to raise funds, but to raise a crowd around this game as it is created. We want to hear everyone's feedback so that we can create the perfect game as a community. These are the real risks and challenges that, by coming to KickStarter, we can prepare more easily for.
As this is our 2nd KS project, we are taking a different approach to fulfillment. With quality control and fulfillment centers already in place, we will be ready to ship as soon as your game is finished printing.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
