Christa and Suze, fellow art students and life long best friends, are just about to graduate. For their graduation show, they want to do something that hasn't been done before; most of all, they want to be remembered.
After an horrific accident, the two best friends are forced to hit the road in a stolen taxi to evade the law. Join them as they make their way across the country, trying to maintain their friendship and their freedom whilst dealing with whatever (or whomever) may come in their way.

The Collaborators is Breech Films' début feature film.
Breech Films is a production company based in Lancashire, comprised of 39 experienced film-makers who want to bring you the best possible film that they can.
We are dedicating the next year of our lives to 'The Collaborators', and will work tirelessly to make sure that you get enough bang for your buck.
We are shooting on a BlackMagic Design Cinema Camera in 2.5K RAW with a variety of cinema grade lenses. With these cameras, we are able to get cinema quality shots that look absolutely gorgeous on the big screen.
This is our debut feature film, and our intention is to make a splash in the independent film scene. But we don't want to wait for an outside source to give us the funds we need, and take creative control from us.
Therefore, we need your help in procuring a micro budget that we can use to bring our excellent script to life.
'The Collaborators' is a monster project to take on for our début feature, as the majority of the film is set on the road. This means that a large portion of the funds will be spent on transport, and essentials like the taxi that Christa and Suze steal.
This film isn't just for us though, it's for you too. And we don't want to let you down. We love the fact that the film has two strong female leads who aren't afraid to speak their minds, as it is too rare of an occurrence in cinema. We know that their is a large community out there that want to see empowered female characters on the big screen, and 'The Collaborators' is the film to give it to you.
So far, the support on our social media pages has been incredible, and we only hope that it continues throughout our journey making this film.
Our goal ultimately with the film is to enter it into festivals, gain an audience, and then distribute it. However, we can't do this without you.
'The Collaborators' is a passion project for all of us at Breech Films, and we want to be able to show a piece of work that we are proud of in a year's time. We hope that you see our commitment, and get as excited by the film as we are.

Risks and challenges
As we are an independent feature, we have the problems that most independent features have: time, and money.
With your donations, we will have the kind of budget that we need to make our film as great as possible. So that takes care of the money side.
Time-wise: we will undoubtedly face many unforeseen obstacles once we begin shooting. BUT we are all experienced film-makers, and have therefore learnt how to problem solve, without slowing down production.
We aim to have finished the film by the start of 2016, if all goes to plan.
