Copies for schools and libraries now arriving! Plus, we were on Colbert!

Want to get To Be or Not To Be?

If you missed the Kickstarter and looking to buy To Be or Not To Be, the book is out now! You can get the book at your local bookstore, on Amazon, on B&N, from Breadpig - basically... everywhere only the finest of books are sold? has more information!

Already backed the Kickstarter?

You are and remain the best. If you filled in your survey over a month ago and haven't got your physical package yet drop us a line on Kickstarter and Christina will sort it out, and if you're missing digital goods email to let me know and I'll send them out to you right away.

Books for schools and libraries!

One of the stretch goals we kept hitting was more and more books being sent, free of charge, to schools and libraries worldwide. We had schools sign up from all over, and we sent out those books last week. Some have already arrived! In both cases I've found, the librarians have wanted to read the book first. AWESOME.

From Pandamans's Tumblr, no Batman unfortunately :(

Our book was on the Colbert Report!

Alexis Ohanian was on the Colbert Report last night to talk about his new book, Without Their Permission, and mentioned our little book that you might be familiar with, To Be or Not To Be, as an example of the internet making awesome things happen! Colbert was kinda big into the idea which was amazing and super sweet. You can watch the clip here!

Best Book Of 2013? SURE SOUNDS GOOD

To Be or Not To Be is, thanks to your votes, now in the semifinals round of Goodread's Best Humor Books of 2013! It's a straight-up popularity contest, so you can straight-up vote for it AGAIN here. There's tons of great books in that category alone: if you're looking for new things to read I recommend The Oatmeal's "My Dog: The Paradox" (Matt also did an illustration for To Be or Not To Be!), Allie Brosh's Hyperbole and a Half, and Kelly Williams Brown's Adulting. See the full list here!

(this is the same picture i used the last time but just imagine "opening round" now says "semifinal round" and it will be consistent with reality, phew)

Hamlet Pizza!

In similarly surreal news, I still have to make and then eat a Hamlet pizza. That has not been forgotten! It is the most daunting of the stretch goals.

And yet, the most delicious??

Hey, I tried sending a message through Kickstarter and I haven't got a response back yet about not receiving my physical books yet.

I feel like exploding your own head should have been more daunting than eating a Hamlet-shaped pizza, but you were ALL OVER THAT ONE.

Adding a mustache to my coworker's Batman remains one of the best decisions I've made as a professional. Can't wait to start pushing this book on our patrons :)

Pizza! Hamlet pizza! You owe me!!! Yes! That deserved the non-grammatically necessary extra exclamation points! I'm just glad that this Kickstarter isn't quite done! That's all I got!

...Well, except being a little bummed that the guy on Colbert (yeah, maybe he invented Readit, but so what?) didn't mention Ryan North by name. See? That's why I didn't mention HIM by name. How ya' like them apples, guy who didn't mention Ryan North by name?

      Okay, NOW I'm done.

A Hamlet pizza seems certainly Dauntlicious.

But what if it were a choose your own adventure pizza?

...Though I guess that's just stuffed crust now isn't it?

I think one sign of being An Awesome Person is probably asking us to vote for you in a competition and then telling us how awesome some of your competitors are. :)
