Holiday ecards - first batch sent!

Hi everyone,

Oh man did we just nail our first deliverable deadline?  WE TOTES DID.  If you pledged $30 or more and signed up for the holiday ecard, that's waiting in your email as of yesterday morning.  My initial plan was to have these early cards be more "hey thanks for pledging, here's the card you can keep for yourself or send on to a friend!" but looking at the data it seemed like a lot of people were sending them to friends, and sometimes it was hard to tell what was going on.  So the emails were instead formatted like "Hey, someone special got you something awesome!!" and now if you got one you sent to yourself it's like you gave a gift to yourself.

As planned, the remainder will go out on Dec 24th.  If you pledged $30 or more (with or without shipping) and would like to get this Kickstarter-exclusive ecard, it's not too late!  Just fill out this form before December 24th and you'll get it sent to you.  After that date though it is TOO LATE FOREVER and this is your last warning!  TOO LATE FOREVER, everyone! :o

If you didn't get the ecard you were expecting, make sure you've whitelisted ryan@qwantz.com and check your spam folders.  I've manually corrected the wrong emails I found (commas instead of periods, etc) but if it's still not there, no worries!  Just sign up again and you'll get it a few days from now on the 24th.  And if there's anything else I can help with, please email me instead of commenting here, because I don't get notification of new comments so it's not the best way to contact me.

Finally, if you missed out on the Kickstarter but still want to get in on this action, you've got one last chance, as long as you're reading these words before it's 2013!  Publisher Breadpig will let you get a selected subset of the Kickstarter tiers, at the same price as here, but through PayPal instead of Amazon Payments.

Okay!  This is awesome!  I will talk to you all soon, and thank you again.

Never got an e-Card. Was I supposed to? Were we all supposed to get them?

Thanks, I managed to get it. Just clicking on the picture in the email, IE kept wanting to open it using some plug-in (I have no idea why). Either copying the target address to another tab in IE, or to Safari, I got a right-clickable-menu to save the image.

@sonia - I got the ecard email and when I clicked the image it let me view the full-size high-res version of the image that I could then right-click and save. I use mozilla firefox, maybe it was an IE problem and you can try it again with firefox or google chrome?

I got the e-card OK, but I can't find a way to save the picture and it won't print out. The only thing I could do was a screen-clipping of it. Why is this? (Using Win7/IE)

You RTF part where he says "And if there's anything else I can help with, please email me instead of commenting here, because I don't get notification of new comments so it's not the best way to contact me."

      RYAN. So excited about everything.

What if I want to change my pledge!? I wanted to give copies to some of my friends (so I did the IS IT ALLOWED TO READ ONE BOOK MORE THAN ONCE) but now I sort of wish I had done I WANT TO PUT THINGS ON MY BODY AND WALLS because I suddenly realize that my true desire is a Yorick skull. Forever. And ever. What do I do!? Gah!
