Our athletic fit is designed to have a slim tailored look for men with muscular legs without being skin tight. Most athletic builds have to size up their waist to fit their bigger legs and butt. With our athletic fit, you no longer have to size up the waist.
Our men’s slim fit is designed to have a slim tailored look for men with a more slender frame. They’re a medium-low rise that fits slim body types perfectly.
Our men’s jogger-chino hybrid is a cross between our slim and athletic fit that converts from a chino to a jogger with a simple low-profile cinch.
Our women’s high-rise skinny fit flatters most body types. Our unique contoured waistband sits lower in the front and higher in the back eliminating gapping and preventing the front from digging in when seated.
Our women’s mid-rise straight leg flatters most body types from curvy to a straighter frame. Slim fitting from the knees up with more room below the knees. Our unique contoured waistband sits lower in the front and higher in the back eliminating gapping and preventing the front from digging in when seated.
Our jeans are perfect for travel and the outdoors so we wanted to design a puffy jacket that would be the perfect companion to our denim. Our water-resistant hooded puffy jackets have a tailored slim look for both men and women. They are water resistant and feature a waterproof reverse-coil zipper. Our jackets are made with DuPont’s environmental and vegan-friendly Sorona filling that keeps you warm without harming any animals. The jacket also easily rolls into a pouch converting the jacket into a comfortable travel pillow which is perfect for travel, camping or taking a quick nap at work.
Taz and Brad met 14 years ago as busboys at their local Spaghetti Factory in Vancouver, Canada. They had a “did we just become best friends” moment after they spent an entire shift discussing business ideas and ways to make the big bucks as 15 year olds. Fast forward 14 years with a couple of successful and failed businesses under their belt, they feel they have finally hit the jackpot with Boulder Denim which allows them to pursue their passion for climbing while building a brand that fits perfectly into their lifestyle. For the past year, Taz and Brad have been touring North America sponsoring climbing festivals and getting the jeans on as many people as possible at climbing gyms across the continent. At the same time, they've been working directly with their manufacturer to make everyone's favourite denim even better and more affordable than ever.

Risks and challenges
This is our 2nd Kickstarter. Our first time around, we ran into many unforeseen obstacles since we were so fresh to the apparel business. (It took us 6 months just to get custom buttons and rivets from YKK). We learned from our mistakes and are much better prepared this time around.
Some of our styles and colors are already in production and ready to ship as soon as the Kickstarter ends but in order to get you more styles and colors, we need your help to hit our minimum orders. To get you your jeans quicker, we’ll send a survey out to our backers mid-campaign to get a feel for what the popular colors and styles will be so we can order the fabric as soon as possible to get a jump-start on production.
Supply Chain Risk: Sometimes we can run into tiny delays which can delay production from as little as 2 weeks to as much as 2 months. We feel we're much better prepared this time around and feel delays, if any, will be minimal.
There is a small chance that if we don't get enough backers choosing a certain color or style, that we won't go into production with that particular color or style. If this happens, you'll be able to choose a different option.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
