[Important] Spot our packages and stay safe!
Thanks to Anne (Backer #1003) who notified us about the serious situations in Texas, it was brought to our attention that there have been 3 package bombs in Austin during the past month - 2 people have died and others are seriously injured, and another bomb exploded yesterday. Today there was another explosion from a package at the FedEx distribution facility in San Antonio and a “suspicious” package has been identified at FedEx in Austin.
Amid this serious situation which seems to be a deliberate terrorist attack on innocent civilians, we strongly condemn the perpetrators. At the same time, our team members at Thingyfy are extremely concerned about the safety of our backers. So we have compiled some useful info to help our backers spot our packages and stay safe.
1) We DON'T use FedEx in US
Most of the recent package bomb incidents were via FedEx. Fortunately, (except Philipines) we have not been using FedEx for the US. So if you get a package from FedEx, you can be sure, it is NOT from us.
2) Spot the Exterior Shipping Labels.
Below is how our shipping label looks like. There's always a shipper written in Chinese characters on the top right corner (the actual characters vary from package to package), with a bar code at the bottom.
3) Spot the Interior Shipping Labels
Once you open the plastic protective cover, you should see a box with clear 'Thingyfy' logo printed on the box. A typical label on the box would look like below:
Last but not least, use the tracking code we send you to track the whereabouts of your package.
Stay safe and contact us should you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you as always,
