Once our campaign is successful we will send out a survey to all our backers. In this survey you can select the color of your frame and lenses.

When our campaign is finished we will start asking all our backers to submit their photos we need for tailoring.

We will give you some clear tips & tricks along the way.

When you make a pledge you can add the amount to your payment.

For gradient lenses add € 20.
For polarized lenses add € 50.
For prescription lenses add € 75.

Yes. All our frames are tailor-made and based on a replica of your face. You could say we have 7 billion sizes and counting.

All we need is a series of photos of your face. You can make the photos by using a smartphone camera (iPhone 5 and up or similar). We select the best photos for making the replica. If the quality of some photos is not good enough we will ask you for some more and better photos.

Once our campaign is successful we will send our tips & tricks to all our backers.

3D printing (or additive manufacturing, AM) is any of various processes used to make a three-dimensional object. In 3D printing, additive processes are used n which successive layers of material are laid down under computer control. These objects can be of almost any shape or geometry, and are produced from a 3D model or other electronic data source.

We use 3D-printing because it allows us to make glasses that are different for every single customer. Every single Boulton frame is printed on demand, no frame will ever be the same. This would not be possible with any other technique. And we love it!

Yes. For all our frames you can choose between prescription or sunglasses. Don't forget to add €75 to your pledge if you choose prescription eyewear.

NOTE: we only offer single vision lenses (in Dutch: monofocale glazen). We don't offer progressive lenses during the campaign (in Dutch: multifocale glazen).

The only thing we need extra is your prescription. You can send a (photo)copy of this prescription to us by e-mail once our Kickstarter campaign is successful.
